Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively mitigate the symptoms of rhinitis caused by allergic rhinitis, pollinosis, or the like, without using any medicines by effectively cleaning the nostril with a tool excellent in portability. SOLUTION: A cleaning solution 10 to clean the nostril is filled in an inner bag 2 of an aerosol container of double structure provided with a pressure-proof outer cylindrical can 1, the inner bag 2 stored therein, and a valve 3 for discharging aerosol, thus providing the nostril cleaning tool. The cleaning solution has the buffer capacity in a range of pH 4.5 to pH 6.0. The environment in the nostril is further normalized, and the symptoms of rhinitis by allergic rhinitis and pollinosis can be mitigated without using any medicine.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lead such safe water vapor as a steamed towel persistently and simply by controlling water vapor temperature emitted from the surface of a water vapor generator below specified temperature. SOLUTION: A temperature adjusting member 3 is layered on a water vapor generating composition of matter 1, which is stored in a moisture permeable internal bag 2 and the whole is stored in a moisture permeable external bag 4. And outside the bag 4, a sealing bag 5 is placed to seal. As the water vapor generating composition of matter 1, it is used the heat of combustion of metal powder. Layering about 4 sheets of nonwoven fabric 3a and about 2 sheets of paper 3b, the temperature adjusting member 3 is constructed. And it is layered on the water vapor generating face 2a of moisture permeable internal bag 2 to control the water vapor temperature, which is emitted, to be below 50 degrees centigrade. When it is used, breaking the sealing bag 5, pulling contents out, the water vapor generating face 4a of the moisture permeable internal bag 4 is applied to eye and surrounding of eye. Thus it is possible to lead such safe water vapor as a steamed towel persistently.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a nasal catarrh symptom such as allergic nasal catarrh, pollenosis, etc., to be eased without using a drug by applying a nose pack to be adhered to the nasal cavity or the accessory sinus, which is provided with an exothermic body and an elastic plate member to pull nose sidewalls outward when applied on a nose. SOLUTION: This hot nose pack has an exothermic body 2 inside and the exothermic body 2 is adhered to the accessory sinus. The exothermic body is generally called a chemical body warmer. For instance, an exothermic composition utilizing the oxidation heat of metallic powder such as iron powder, is used as the exothermic body 2. The exothermic body composition is stored in air permeable inner bag 3 as well as a chemical body warmer and then stored in the hot nose pack 1A. The hot nose pack 1A is equipped with an elastic plate member 5 which draw the nose outward when the hot nose pack 1A is adhered to the nose. When the hot nose pack 1A like that is adhered to the nose, a nose catarrh symptom can be eased by the exothermic effect of the exothermic body 2.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a safe use by constituting the surface to be applied to the skin or mucous membrane by use of a moisture permeable sheet, and controlling the steam temperature to be released to a specified temperature or lower. SOLUTION: This steam generator 10A is formed of a steam generating part 2 comprising a steam generating composition 1 housed in a moisture permeable inner bag 2i, a temperature regulating material 3 laminated thereon, and a moisture permeable outer bag 4 and sealing bag 5 for housing the whole body. In use, the sealing bag 5 is broken to take out the content, and the steam generating surface 4a of the moisture permeable outer bag 4 is applied to the skin or mucous membrane. The temperature regulating material 3 is provided between the steam generating part 2 and the steam generating surface 4a, whereby the temperature of the steam released from the surface of the steam generator 10A can be controlled to 50 deg.C or lower. As the temperature regulating material 3, a woven fabric, nonwoven fabric, paper, porous film, perforated metal foil or the like is used.
