Abstract: One disclosure of the present specification provides a method for supporting early data transmission (EDT) by a base station. The method may comprise a step of receiving a first message from a mobility management entity (MME). A first NAS message may include downlink data. The method may further comprise a step of confirming that there is no additional data other than the downlink data, on the basis of reception of the first NAS message.
