Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display label mounting structure provided with a front panel with a recessed part formed and a label cover made to be locked by being fitted into the recessed part. SOLUTION: The label cover is provided with locking protrusions and the recessed part is provided with locking protrusions corresponding to the locking protrusions. The label cover can be provided with move slots for easily detaching the label cover. Bores can be formed in the recessed part and display icons of the molded goods separated one by one can be inserted therein. Tapered angle parts can be formed in the recessed part, making it possible to position the continuous labels varying in widths and lengths in the prescribed positions by the tapered angle parts of the recessed part and the label cover when such labels are housed therein. The ends of the recessed part are formed to the shapes at which the labels can be prevented from coming outside the front panel. The label cover is formed to a thickness at which the label cover is made to have the same plane as the front panel. The labels can be formed to the same color as the color of the front panel. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-piece cable tie which maintains strap retention force, can be readily assembled and achieves low insertion force. SOLUTION: The cable tie includes a metal locking device 136 which is bent at a predetermined angle and then precisely located within a receiving cavity of the locking device 136. It includes a strap 104 having a first end and a free end 138, and a locking head 102 secured to the first end of the strap along a strap attachment axis. The locking head includes a strap entry end and a strap exit end at both ends of an axis of a strap accepting channel 122. It includes the receiving cavity 180 of the metal locking device and an extending wall 142 located between the cavity and the strap accepting channel. A fixed end 134 is mounted on a support slot of an end wall of the locking head and oriented substantially parallel to an axis of the strap accepting channel. The metal locking device includes a free end angled at an acute angle relative to the strap accepting channel axis and extending into the channel and extends into the strap accepting channel.
Abstract:
A one-piece miniature insulation displacement contact (10) adapted for post-termination insertion and retention within a channel of an insulative connector housing. The contact (10) includes a continuous channel (12) extending the length of a conductor termination portion (18) formed at one end of the contact, extending the length of a transition portion (16) of the contact, and extending a portion of the length of a terminal engagement portion (14) of the contact; a floor (36) of the continuous channel extending the entire length of the contact. The conductor termination portion (18) includes opposing first walls (30) coextensive with the floor and opposing insulation displacement jaws (26) shear formed from each of the first walls where each of the jaws is displaced inwardly to juxtapose respective innermost insulation piercing edges (28) of each of said jaws to form an insulation displacement slot (44).
Abstract:
Abstract:
A tool (20) for applying an elongate connector (22) to a plurality of insulated conductors (26). The connector (22) includes a base (30) and a cover (41) with the base (30) having a plurality of insulation displacement terminal elements (46) extending toward the cover (41). The base (30) and cover (41) are joined by interconnection means (52) for holding the connector (22) in an insertion position for receiving the conductors (26). The base (30) and cover (41) are movable from the insertion position to a connector termination position in which the elements engage the conductors (26). The tool (20) includes a die (88) for moving the connector (22) to its termination position, holding means (86, 90) for positioning the connector (22) with respect to the die (88) and prime mover means connected to cause the die (88) and a component of the holding means (86, 90) to undergo reciprocal movement relative to one another. The holding means (86, 90) includes stop means (90) positioned to engage the connector (22) when it is in its insertion position. The stop means (90) is spaced from the connector (22) when the connector (22) has been moved to its termination position whereby, prior to termination, the stop means (90) maintains the connector (22) in alignment with the die (88) and, after termination, the connector (22) can be removed from the tool (20) without interference from the stop means (90).
Abstract:
A fixture for engagement with a duct or raceway of the type having a base and an integral cover, wherein the fixture includes a pair of arms for maintaining the cover in the open position. The fixture includes pilot guide holes for locating drilling positions for mounting the duct to a wall.
