Abstract: A method of wireless communication locator station to be disposed at specific location includes: detecting rotation angle information of client-based portable device, carried or worn by user, according to specific wireless communication standard between wireless communication locator station and client-based portable device when client-based portable device is within signal range of wireless communication locator station; generating head pose direction estimation according to calculated rotation angle information; and when head pose direction estimation indicates that a user turns face towards wireless communication locator station, sending packet signal from wireless communication locator station to server-based portable device, successfully paired with and security-connected with client-based portable device, so that server-based portable device can transfer packet signal to client-based portable device after receiving packet signal.

Abstract: An optical detection device capable of detecting a pointer position of a turntable watch includes an optical receiver and a processor. Abstract: There is provided a structure to improve BSI global shutter efficiency. In a sensor pixel circuit, at least one strong electric field is formed at the position of a floating diffusion region to accordingly have the effect of shielding the floating diffusion region. Or, the semiconductor material from the floating diffusion node toward a light incident direction is removed in the manufacturing process such that a depletion region cannot be formed in this direction. Or, a reflection layer or a photoresist layer is formed in the light incident direction to block the light. In these ways, charges generated by the undesired noises are reduced, and noise charges are difficult to reach the floating diffusion region thereby improving the shutter efficiency.

Abstract: A wearable device and a portable apparatus are provided. The wearable device includes two wireless earphones each including a speaker, a sound receiver for receiving sound from a peripheral object, and a signal converting circuit that is electrically coupled to the sound receiver and is configured to convert input signal from the sound receiver into a target spectrogram. The two spectrograms from the signal converting circuits have a time/phase difference, and at least one wireless earphone includes a storage unit and a judging circuit that is electrically coupled to the storage unit, the two signal converting circuits, and the two speakers. The judging circuit is configured to compare any target spectrogram with basic spectrograms of the storage unit so as to determine which kind of objects the peripheral object is, and is configured to obtain an instant position of the peripheral object by the time/phase difference.

Abstract: There is provided a system architecture including a PPG hardware module and a MEMS hardware module. The PPG hardware module processes PPG raw data, which is generally composed of analog signals or digital signals. The PPG hardware module filters the raw data for later digital calculation to, for example, find out frequency signals with higher peak values. The PPG hardware module then outputs the selected frequency signals to an MCU for heart rate calculation. The MEMS hardware module receives MEMS raw data from a motion detector made of MEMS elements. The MEMS raw data represents motion status of a user that could possibly affect the heart rate determination result. The MEMS hardware module filters the raw data for later digital calculation to find out frequency signals with higher peak values caused by motion.
