Abstract:
Abstract:
Systems and methods for wireless communication are disclosed. In one aspect an access point includes a processor configured to generate a message identifying a time period during which the apparatus is to communicate data with one or more wireless devices, the message further including an indicator indicating a wireless communication flow direction during the time period. The access point further includes a transmitter configured to transmit the generated message.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for wireless communications are disclosed. More particularly, aspects generally relate to techniques for indicating a minimum and maximum channel bandwidth in a frame (e.g., short frame). One or more bits in the frame, for example a management frame, may indicate both minimum and maximum bandwidths for communicating in the network. According to aspects, a wireless terminal may determine the minimum and maximum bandwidths for communicating in the network based on a mapping of different values of the one or more bits to combinations of minimum and maximum bandwidths. While any field in the frame may indicate the minimum and maximum bandwidth, according to aspects, the Basic Service Set (BSS) bandwidth (BW) field may be used for the indication.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for wireless communication are disclosed. In one aspect, a method includes generating, by an apparatus, a first message comprising a first indicator indicating a number of beacon intervals that each have a window during which one or more devices are permitted to communicate with the apparatus; and transmitting, by the apparatus, the first message.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and devices for providing state updates in a mesh network are described herein. One innovative aspect of the present disclosure includes an apparatus communicatively coupled with a descendant node. The apparatus includes a processing system configured to generate a message identifying an address of the descendant node and information identifying a change in state of the descendant node or information identifying a capability of the descendant node.

Abstract:
Methods and apparatus for wireless communication are disclosed. In one aspect, a method includes generating, by an apparatus, a restricted access window message indicating devices not associated with the apparatus are permitted to communicate with the apparatus during a time period defined by the message; and transmitting, by the apparatus, the generated message.
Abstract:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatus for indicating whether or not transmit opportunity (TXOP) sharing is allowed. An exemplary method generally includes generating a frame; indicating, via a value of at least one bit of a field of the frame, whether to allow transmit opportunity (TXOP) sharing during which a relay is allowed to forward the frame in the same TXOP in which the frame was transmitted; and transmitting the frame.
