PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique concerning a screen which is improved in a contrast ratio. SOLUTION: There is disclosed an image display system including the screen whose reflectance can be changed and a projection type display device which projects an image to the screen, and the image display system further includes: a projection part which projects a predetermined image with an area having different lightness to the screen; a contrast ratio measuring part which measures the contrast ratio of the predetermined image projected and displayed on the screen; a control signal generation part which generates a control signal being a signal for controlling reflectance of the screen based on the contrast ratio; and a reflectance control device which controls the reflectance of the screen in accordance with the control signal. SOLUTION: An electrostatic inkjet head 1 comprises: pressure chambers 6 communicating with ink nozzles 21 and an atmospheric pressure chamber 12 opened to the atmosphere, wherein diaphragms 5 are formed on the bottom surfaces of the pressure chambers 6, a voltage is applied between the diaphragms 5 and individual electrodes 43 to vibrate the diaphragms 5 electrostatically so as to inject ink droplets, vibration chambers 41 as hermetically closed chambers communicate with a pressure compensating chamber 49, a displacement plate 16 which is displaceable toward the outside of the bottom surface of the pressure compensating chamber 49 according to a variation in atmospheric pressure is formed on the bottom surface of the pressure compensating chamber 49, the volume of the pressure compensating chamber 49 is increased or decreased according to the displacement of the displacement plate 16, so that the inside pressure of each vibration chamber 41 communicating with the pressure compensating chamber 49 is regulated to the atmospheric pressure. SOLUTION: The scanning image display system 1 includes a plurality of scanning image display devices 2, 3 including a light source 10 for emitting laser light, and a scanning means 30 having a first scanning means 31 for scanning the laser light emitted from the light source 10 toward a face to be projected 40 in a first direction and a second scanning means 33 for scanning the laser light in a second direction of a direction substantially orthogonal to the first direction. The first scanning means 31 has a higher scanning speed as compared with the second scanning means 33, and is a resonant scanning means.
