Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain sure readout, replicate, erasure and write by surely generating a negative Bloch line to the chopping end of a minor loop side after the chopping. CONSTITUTION:Plural minor loops ML having a negative perpendicular Bloch line -VBL are arranged respectively across a minor loop part 1. A chopping means 4 comprising chopping conductors 4a, 4b is arranged to the major line side 2 of the loop 1. In reading out the Bloch line, it is attained through the presence of -VBL pairs 3 at a prescribed location. That is, inverse power is applied to the conductors 4a, 4b to each other thereby generating a perpendicular magnetic field in a direction where opposed magnetic walls are integrated in stripe magnetic domains constituting the loop ML between the conductors 4a and 4b. Moreover, the loop ML and the means 4 are located so that the planer magnetic field generated by the conductors 4a, 4b of the loop ML is directed in the same direction as the magnetization of the magnetic walls integrated by chopping.
