    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the pressure closed container having an excellent sealing-up performance which is free from deformation, and also, generates no air leakage extending over a long period by executing seaming, while holding pressure in a can higher than pressure of the outside of the can. CONSTITUTION:A can cover 1 having a curl part 3 in the outside peripheral end edge, and a can drum 2 having a flange part 4 in the opening end edge are installed in a pressure chamber 10. After pressurizing the inside of its chamber 10 to prescribed pressure, the curl part 3 of the can cover 1 is pressed against the flange part 4 of the can drum 2, Pressure Po in the chamber 10 is made lower than prescribed pressure, and while holding pressure Pi in the can higher than the pressure Po in the chamber 10, seaming is executed by a seaming roll 11 and a seaming jig consisting of a receiving die 13. As a result, the pressure closed container having an excellent sealing-up performance which is free from deformation, and also, generates no air leakage extending over a long period can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily execute the inspection of inner pressure by providing a mark in a spot, where the upper end of a tennis ball is positioned, when a container stands up almost straightly in a state that the inside of the container is under allowable pressure. CONSTITUTION:The container is composed of a transparent plastic main body 12 of the container and a pull-top cover 14 made of aluminium, etc., and plural tennis balls 16 are housed in the container. Then air is sealed in a pressurized state. By holding the inner pressure more than an allowable value, the resiliency of the tennis ball 16 is kept in a satisfactory state. Further, a linear mark 18 provided on the surface of a lower part in the main body 12 of the container is provided at a height, where the upper end of the tennis ball 16 in the highest step is positioned, when a container 10 is inverted in the state the inside of the container 10 is under the allowable pressure. In such a case, the lower the inner pressure is made, the larger the diameter of the tennis ball 16 is made. Accordingly, by comparing the upper end position of the tennis ball 16 with the position of the mark 18, the quality of the inner pressure can be decided. Thus, the inner pressure of the container can be inspected without destroying the container.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an insulating material having excellent flexibility and elasticity at low temperature and a large amount of heat retained, comprising PVC resin gelatinized by adding a plasticizer and hydrous hydrogel having the coated surface. CONSTITUTION:The aimed insulating material comprising (A) PVC resin gelatinized by adding 15-40 times (preferably 30-40 times) as much a plasticizer such as dioctyl phthalate or octyl adipate as the PVC resin by weight and (B) hydrous hydrogel whose surface is coated preferably with protective colloid or high polymer polyhydric alcohol. In the method of surface coating and curing treatment of the component B, 1/2-equivalence based on the hydrous hydrogel of 10-15wt.% aqueous solution of surface coating agent is added to the hydrogen gel and the treatment is carried out as it is or further 10-20wt.% during auxiliary is added and the treatment is carried out.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an insulating material which is inexpensive and excellent in insulating property and low-temperature flexibility, by mixing polyvinyl chloride with a plasticizer, a hydrated gel or an aqueous water-soluble polymer solution and an emulsifier. CONSTITUTION:An insulating material containing 100pts.wt. polyvinyl chloride, 30-500pts.wt. plasticizer, 50-200pts.wt. hydrated water-absorptive gel or aqueous water-soluble polymer solution and 1-25pts.wt. emulsifier. It is generally desirable that the average degree of polymerization of the vinyl chloride used is 900-3,000. The water-soluble gel is a water-absorptive high-molecular polymer, and exemplified by sodium acrylate polymers and isoprene/maleic anhydride copolymers. Examples of said water-soluble polymers include carboxymethylcellulose and polyvinyl alcohol. This insulating material can be usually obtained by uniformly mixing the polyvinyl chloride with the plasticizer at 140-170 deg.C, mixing this mixture with the hydrated water-absorptive gel or the aqueous water-soluble polymer solution and fully mixing the combined solution in the presence of the emulsifier.
