Abstract: Data acquisition methods and systems in support of non-snoop transactions. In the data acquisition method, the cache memory is partially written back and invalidate, such that a portion of the data in the cache memory is written back to the DMA buffer. The endpoint device is directed to use a non-snoop transaction to read the data stored in the DMA buffer. The data stored in the DMA buffer is acquired directly without snooping the processor when receiving a non-snoop read transaction.

Abstract: A method for remote routes calculation and navigation with automatic route detection and revision couples with navigation data transmission of a navigation center to increase navigation accuracy and greatly reduce data transmission between the navigation center and navigation required users. The method mainly includes calculating a linear deviation limit to serve as the maximum allowance limit to alert timely response for route deviations to enhance navigation accuracy.

Abstract: A needle indicating navigation method, particularly relates to one using a monitor type display in combination with navigation equipment to transform navigational information into readable traveling routes messages on a screen of a display indicated by clock-like pointing needles for vehicle drivers. It mainly integrates into line connection the navigation equipment, wireless communication devices, navigation service centers or other information devices which can offer calculated traveling routes information whereby traveling route messages can be transmitted from a navigation service center or a self provided navigation program in a piece of navigation equipment to drivers on vehicles equipped with a display monitor, or by way of the connection of the information device and the navigation equipment to offer calculated traveling routes information. The message is illustrated on a screen of the display monitor by clock-like pointing needles which respectively provide the various navigation messages, such as the locations of next turns, and the directions of the next turns, the directions toward the destination, the distances, the orientations, and etc respectively. Thus, detailed navigational information can be simply displayed on a limited space of a display monitor for driver to read with speed and ease.

Abstract: An optically operated automatic control system for a vehicle's windshield wipers can automatically activate the windshield wipers or a water dispenser filled with cleansing agent in response to the amount of rain cast on a windshield or the level of dirtiness of the same. Thus, a clear vision is constantly kept through a windshield glass for the driver of a vehicle to see. The automatic control system is mainly equipped with a photography device at a proper position adjacent the windshield to take the vision in front of a vehicle via the windshield. Afterwards, a series of calculations via a number of preset mathematical equations are conducted so as to get the wiper control system or the water dispenser to automatically operate accordingly. Thus, the windshield glass of a vehicle can always be kept clear and clean for a driver in driving to see through any time.

Abstract: A control circuit is adapted for use in a wireless communication appliance, and particularly for an action phone. This circuit is equipped with an antenna which can receive magnetic waves sent off from the appliance or phone so as to generate a current which is further processed by a wave detector so as to obtain a very weak voltage. Such voltage is amplified into a large one, used to control the peripheral equipment operationally connected to the appliance or phone, such as a switch of a speaker of a handfree phone retainer, an alarm device or an automatic phone recorder, facilitating the operation of a wireless communication appliance or an action phone.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a device to permit use of camera video tape in a conventional video player. The device has a port formed at a lower right end portion of a front side of a box body for a drive lever. The box body encloses a winding mechanism, left and right arm members, and left and right fixing seats. When the video tape is loaded in the box body, the drive lever can be pushed in to push the winding mechanism and swing the left and right arm members into an extension position where they are fixed by fixing seats to stretch the tape to permit operation in a video player.
