Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition, containing a specific polyamide resin and a specified aliphatic compound in a specific proportion, excellent in strength and heat, impact and chemical resistances and useful as parts, etc., of electric appliances and automobiles. CONSTITUTION:This resin composition contains (A) 100 pts.wt. polyamide resin containing caproamide and/or hexamethylene adipamide as main constituent units and (B) 0.5-10 pts.wt. aliphatic compound having one or more carboxylic acid groups and/or carboxylic acid derivative groups in the molecule, 400-10000 number-average molecular weight and 50-200 sum total of the saponification value and the acid value such as heptacosanoic acid.

CONSTITUTION:The title composition comprises 100 pts.wt. polyamide resin, 0.001-10 pts.wt. polyamide oligomer terminated with a 6-30C hydrocarbon group and has a molecular weight of 5000 or below and 1-25 pts.wt. triazine flame retardant.
