    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antistaining composition capable of forming by a highly simple means a coating film to which stains are hardly adhered and which facilitates the removal of adhered stains and has excellent abrasion resistance, by formulating a specific fluorine-containing silane compound or the like with a polyfunctional organic silicon compound or the like in a specific ratio. SOLUTION: This antistaining composition comprises (A) 1 to 99 pts.wt. of a fluorine-containing silane compound of formula I [Rf is a 1-10C perfluoro group or a hydroperfluoro group; R1 is OH or a hydrolyzable group; R2 is a monovalent organic group; R3 is a divalent organic group; (n) is 0 to 2] or its hydrolyzate (for example, a compound of formula II) and (B) 1 to 99 pts.wt. of a polyfunctional organic silicon compound or its hydrolyzate. The component B is preferably the reaction of a compound of the formula: Rf[(CH2)nOH]m (Rf is a fluorine-containing oxaalkyl group; (m) and (n) are each 0 to 4) with an isocyanate silane compound or the like.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject film having high hardness and capable expressing excellent abrasion resistance, excellent transparency, and the like by forming a coating film containing an organic silicon compound, an epoxy group- containing compound, and metal compound particles in a specific ratio as essential components. SOLUTION: This method for producing a hard coat film comprises dissolving and dispersing (A) an organic silicon compound of the formula [R and R are each an alkyl, an alkenyl, an aryl, a halogen or the like; R is a hydrolyzable group; (a) and (b) are each 0 or 1] and/or its hydrolysate, (B) an epoxy group-containing compound, and (C) metal compound particles (preferably antimony pentoxide) as essential components in a component A/component B ratio of 1/3 to 2/1 and in a component B/component C ratio of 2/3 to 3/1 in a solvent containing an aprotic polar solvent in an amount of 3-35 wt.% based on the total solvent and subsequently forming the hard coat film from the solution or dispersion.
