Abstract:
An adjustable protective head cover, including first and second earpieces, a canopy configured to cover the top of a wearer's head when spread, a plurality of ribs curved to follow the curvature of the top of a wearers head and pivotally secured on opposite ends to opposite earpieces. The ribs are secured to evenly spaced portions of the canopy whereby the ribs are pivoted apart in a substantially uniform spacing when the canopy is spread with the front and rear ribs at the front and rear of the canopy. A plastic band having a zigzag configuration is secured to the underside of the canopy and adapted to configure the canopy in pleats when the ribs are pivoted together. Brims are secured to the canopy at the front and rear ribs, and connectors on the brims releasably connect the brims together with the canopy when the ribs are pivoted together.
Abstract:
A collapsible sun hat comprises a hat rack, a top covering of the hat and straps. There is an inner spring guiderod (15) of a spring (13) in the upper spring casing pipe (16) of the hat rack. A rib assemble ring (10) on the spring casing pipe (16) and a brace assembly ring (8) on the inner spring guiderod (15) hinged to the ribs (6) and the power transmission braces (7), respectively. An opening at the center of the covering (3) run through the spring casing pipe (16). The hem of the covering joined with the end of the ribs (6) with snap fasteners (9). A head case rod (5) hinged to the braces (7), or to the ribs (6) directly. The head case (4) joined with the rod (5) of the head case with the snap fasteners (18). There are straps sewed on the two sides of the head case (4). The collapsible sun hat provided by this utility model is simple in its structure, easy to wear by its head case and easy to washing the covering.
Abstract:
A collapsible article (1) having two members (2, 3) attached by a flexible attachment means (4) to allow limited relative movement between the members (2, 3). When in an extended position the article (1) forms a sunshade for use upon the head of a person and when collapsed the article (1) forms a planar cushioned pad.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rollable sun cap, and more specifically, to a rollable sun cap, wherein a rollable main body of a visor is formed by adhering band-type core materials at intervals between upper and lower outer skins, and an elastic support wire is provided at the outer circumference of the main body of a visor to allow a plurality of the band-type core materials to maintain intervals and to maintain the shape of a visor when spread out, and thus the sun cap can be rolled up for convenient storage when not in use, and the visor can be spread out tightly without any distorted portions when the rolled up sun cap is spread out to be worn on the head. The present invention relates to a sun cap comprising: a visor (10) to which a finishing brim (16) is coupled by sewing to the outer circumference of a main body (10a) of a visor and in which upper and lower outer skins (13, 14) are provided at the upper and lower portions of a core material to cover the same; and a band-type hairband portion (20) having male and female magic tapes (24, 25) detachable to each other at both ends, provided at the inner circumference of the visor (10), wherein adhesive surfaces (13a) are formed on the inner surfaces of the upper and lower outer skins (13, 14) facing the core material, respectively, the core material is formed with a plurality of band-type core materials (11), the plurality of band-type core materials (11) are adhered at regular intervals (12) by the adhesive surfaces (13a) of the upper and lower outer skins (13, 14) between the upper and lower outer skins (13, 14), and an elastic support wire (18) is provided at the finishing brim (16) to maintain the interval between the band-type core materials (11) and to support the outer circumference of the visor (10).
Abstract:
Articles such as a display device (78), a collector device (1), and a hat (62) include a portion of a self-supporting sheet material (6). The sheet material is divided along its length by a first fold (8) and further divided into a first, handle portion (2) and a second, end portion (4,80), by an angle fold (18), transverse to the first fold (8). The angle fold (18) has two fold portions (20,22) each running diagonally, from opposed edges, across the sheet material in a direction towards the end portion and meeting to form an angle with its apex (24) on the first fold (8). When the portion of sheet material is partially folded about the angle fold (18) a user folding or unfolding the handle (2) end about the first fold (8) causes the end portion (4,80) to move respectively towards or away from the handle portion (2).
Abstract:
A molded headgear (50) formed from a laminated combination of a first, outer layer (60), a second, central layer (70) and a third, inner layer (80) of material relative to a wearer, said laminated combination being molded into a first shape (90) adapted to conform to a human head. The molded headgear (50) is flexible, pliable, bendable and resilient and springs back to its original shape once folded and released.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a convertible visor/cap (1), which can be converted from a cap to a visor, and vice verse, having a fixed frontal crown portion and a folding crown membrane supported by a plurality of hinged support members (17, 19). The visor/cap preferably has a forwardly extending bill (3), from which the frontal crown portion extends upward, and a head band portion extending rearwardly therefrom. Two hinges are preferably provided on the side of the head band portion adjacent the frontal crown portion for pivotally supporting the support members. The hinges allow the support members to be pivoted between a first extended position, in which the membrane covers the head (i.e. form a cap), and a second folded position, in which the membrane is folded up behind the frontal crown portion and substantially hidden from view (i.e. form a visor).
