Abstract:
Various curtain systems and components are disclosed. In one form of the invention there is provided a curtain system (10) having a curtain tape (14). The curtain tape (14) comprises a body (40) having a first portion (42) for being fixed to a curtain. A plurality of carrier mounts (48) are provided for mounting a plurality of carriers (52). The carrier mounts (48) are spaced along the length of the body (40) at intervals less than 2 cm to allow for the curtain to be hung from the carrier mounts (48) in any one of a plurality different configurations where each configuration is associated with a different curtain width.
Abstract:
A drapery holdback device comprising a flexible body having a first ply and a second ply, the body having a first end and a second end, a first magnet fixedly secured between the first and second plies proximate the first end, and a second magnet fixedly secured between the first and second plies proximate the second end where the flexible body is adapted to wrap about a drape and where the first magnet is magnetically engaged to the second magnet through a thickness of the drape.
Abstract:
A single-track stacking panel covering for an architectural opening has a headrail for mounting the covering above and in front of the opening, such as a window or door. The headrail has a single track. Suspended from the headrail and translatable therealong are panels oriented at a small angle relative to the headrail. When the covering is open, the panels form an overlappingly stacked array at one end of the headrail.
Abstract:
A curtain restraining apparatus is disclosed by the present disclosure. The apparatus has a pleasing and decorative appearance, will not mar or detract from the appearance of the window trim through the necessity of additional hardware and presents no protrusions or wall mounted hardware to interfere with dusting the window trim. A curtain restraining apparatus includes at least two curtain securing elements each further made of a locking end, an outer boundary and an inner boundary; a flexation point; and at least one position securing element located on the inner boundary.
Abstract:
A device in the form of a scented or fragrant shower curtain or shower curtain liner is disclosed that allows convenient periodic replacement to reduce or eliminate the work and expense associated with cleaning and maintenance thereof, as well as to ensure continued release and dispersal of a selected scent or fragrance. The device may additionally include quick-release attachment structures to facilitate such periodic replacement. A method of maintaining a bathroom or shower facility in a clean and fragrant state is also disclosed using the device, especially for use in hotels or the like.
Abstract:
A magnetic connector apparatus provides a plurality of magnetic connector bodies in various different forms for magnetic connection of two or more bodies together along mutually-confronting, longitudinally-elongated, linear peripheral border edges, each linear peripheral border edge having at least one particularly-configured longitudinally elongated, cylindrical magnet supported adjacent thereto for rotation of the magnet adjacent said peripheral edge of each connector body for orientation of the magnetic polarity of magnets of confronting connector bodies for mutual magnetic attraction along, mutually confronting, linear peripheral border edges of magnetic connector bodies.
Abstract:
A traverse-type window blind with multiple rods and blinds includes brackets, support rods, sliding hooks, and blind bodies wherein each bracket has an abutment face to be fixed to a sidewall of a window frame and at least two or more support portions sequentially arranged at the other side for the mounting of the support rods thereon respectively. Each sliding hook has a hooked upper portion larger than the support portion thereof to be guided through traverse spaces defining the support portions and hanged onto the support rod thereby so that each blind body suspending between every two sliding hooks can be synchronically moved along the support rod without being interfered in an easy traverse-type operation. Besides, each sliding hook has a protective member mounted to the hooked upper portion so as to avoid direct contact with the surface of the support rod and refrain from any damages caused thereby.
Abstract:
An cubicle curtain is disclosed. The cubicle curtain comprises a main portion adapted to attach to a curtain track and at least one fabric band coupled with at least a portion of a corresponding at least one vertical end of the main portion. The at least a portion of the at least one fabric band has antimicrobial properties.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a shower partition, especially a shower blind, which has a housing adapted to be mounted substantially horizontally and open longitudinally on at least one side for guiding a rotary shaft, the shaft being used for receiving a splash guard sheet. Moreover, a mechanism is provided for winding and unwinding the splash guard sheet across the opening of the housing and a drop rod secured to the free end of the splash guard sheet. With the present invention, the splash guard sheet has a pocket formed at the free end thereof for accommodating the drop rod, the drop rod including segmented and/or flexibly interconnected drop rod segments such that the splash guard sheet may substantially follow the inner contour of a tub, shower tray or the like and may approximately adhere to the inside thereof.
Abstract:
A combined shower curtain and liner construction held together by hook and loop strips, wherein the liner sheet is attached below the hook apertures of the shower curtain sheet.
