Abstract:
Abstract:
A massage therapy device having a roller and detachable thermal cover is disclosed. The roller has a series of unique ridges that optimize the application of therapeutic pressure to portions of a user's body. The thermal cover contains thermal retention material that can be heated or cooled. When the thermal cover is detachably connected to the roller, thermal therapy can be applied to muscle and other tissue in conjunction with the pressure therapy applied with the ridges of the roller. The configuration, temperature, and pressure application angle of the device can be varied to maximize the versatility of the device and provide individualized treatment.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are disclosed for maintaining a temperature of water for a safety shower within a desired range using geothermal energy. A conduit containing at least 150 liters of water can be fluidly coupled to a safety shower through which at least a portion of the water can exit. The conduit can be disposed under ground soil at a depth such that the water buffer is maintained at a temperature of between 15 C. to 40 C. as a direct function of a thermal inertia of the ground soil.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for setting a massage pattern of a thermotherapy device, and more specifically, to a method for setting a massage pattern, wherein the movement of a moxibustion device is patterned according to diseases so as to allow a bone of the spine associated with a disease to be intensively massaged, and thus if a disease is selected, a moxibustion device is operated by a motor according to the set massage pattern so as to enable an automatic customized massage according to the disease.
Abstract:
The object of the invention relates to a dildo for sexual stimulation, comprising a tubular body (1) with a hollow structure made of a smooth material, such as silicone or rubber, having a shape and size similar to a penis, filled with a non-Newtonian fluid (2), the viscosity of which increases as the tension gradient applied thereto increases.
Abstract:
A massage tool heating or cooling device (1) for heating or cooling one or more massage tools (10). The device includes a base assembly (2) incorporating a heating or cooling element (5), a conduction plate (4) and a conductive layer (11) that is deformable to cooperate with a surface of a tool (10) to be heated in order to provide intimate thermal contact therewith. The conduction plate (4) is preferably provided with a plurality of recesses (8) and each of these recesses (8) includes a conductive layer (11). In use, heat applied or removed by the heating or cooling element (5) is transferred to or from the massage tool (10) via the conductive layer (11) and the conduction plate (4).
Abstract:
Apparatus for automatic delivery of chest compressions and ventilation to a patient, the apparatus including: a chest compressing device (12) configured to deliver compression phases during which pressure is applied to compress the chest and decompression phases during which approximately zero pressure is applied to the chest, a ventilator (15) configured to deliver positive, negative, or approximately zero pressure to the airway; control circuitry and processor, wherein the circuitry and processor are configured to cause the chest compressing device to repeatedly deliver a set containing a plurality of systolic flow cycles, each systolic flow cycle comprising a systolic decompression phase and a systolic compression phase, and at least one diastolic flow cycle interspersed between sets of systolic flow cycles, each diastolic flow cycle comprising a diastolic decompression phase and a diastolic compression phase, wherein the diastolic decompression phase is substantially longer than the systolic decompression phase.
Abstract:
A therapeutic ball comprises an outer surface having a plurality of projections thereon, and an inner portion comprising a material selected for its ability to retain heat.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a warm air cabin, in addition to a method for operating the same. The aim of the invention is to obtain particularly good treatment results. To achieve this, a cooling medium, e.g. an ice granulate, snow or similar is introduced into the cabin (S) from the ceiling once or several times at intervals during the warm or hot air treatment and is distributed in the treatment room by a rotor that is located on the ceiling.
