Abstract:
A method and apparatus for desalinating saltwater using concentration difference energy is disclosed. In order to desalinate saltwater that is contained within a product chamber, a drive cell is used to generate a drive voltage. The product chamber has a desalination voltage such that when a sufficient voltage is applied to the product chamber, anions and cations migrate out of the product chamber, thereby desalinating the water. The sufficient voltage, which includes the drive voltage and which is equal to or greater than the desalination voltage, is applied to the product chamber, consequently effecting desalination. Beneficially, concentration difference energy can be generated using a concentrated solution, which can be generated using, for example, solar energy.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat organic wastes at a low cost in a waste treatment system. SOLUTION: In the waste treatment system, the organic wastes, such as night soil, garbage and sludge, are introduced into a methane fermentation bath 100 for anaerobic fermentation. The methane gas produced in the bath 100 is refined in a gas holder 500 and then supplied to an electric generator 600. The methane gas is used as a raw material for power generation in the generator 600. Digested liquid within the bath 100 is supplied to an electrolytic bath 100 via a flow adjustment bath 200 and a fine screen 300. In the electrolytic bath 700, the digested liquid is subjected to electrolytic treatment, by applying potentials to an electrode pair in the electrolytic bath 700 based on the electric power obtained by the generator 600. By the electrolytic treatment, nitrogen components including organic nitrogen and ammonia nitrogen, and BOD, SS and phosphorus components are removed from the digested liquid. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for producing hydrogen water, and more particularly, to a portable apparatus for producing hydrogen water including: a container held at an upper side to store water; a hydrogen generating unit positioned at a lower part of the container, and for dissolving hydrogen generated by electrolyzing water stored in the container in the water stored in the container, and converting the water in the container to hydrogen water; and a power supply unit for applying power to the hydrogen generating unit. The portable apparatus for producing hydrogen water of the present invention may enable a user to conveniently drink hydrogen water regardless of the time and the place.
Abstract:
The invention refers to a system to ionize water through electrolysis for pools that function with kinetic-mechanical energy of the water thrust from the filtration system of a pool. The invention refers to a system to ionize pool or pond water by electrolysis, such pools or ponds must be provided with a system for the circulation of water. The system is easily installed in all types of pools without affecting their original character and is used as an autonomous and safe source of energy; the electric force is obtained from the kinetic energy accumulated in the water, product of the impulsion system to filter the pool water. This energy is used both to generate electricity, used in the production of ions by electrolysis, and as a source to indicate operation. The kinetic energy is also used as a source of energy for the drive element of the electrode cleaner.
Abstract:
A water treatment system comprising a housing adapted to receive a flow of water. An electrolytic treatment system disposed within the housing, for producing one or more product substances to treat the water. A hydro generation system disposed within the housing, for generating power from the flow of water. An electronic control system disposed within the housing, for receiving and managing the electrical power produced by the hydro generation system, and for controlling the transfer of electrical power to the electrolytic treatment system to control the production of the one or more product substances.
