Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally conductive silicone grease composition which has high thermal conductivity, shows good workability due to retention of an excellent flow property, is following fine irregularities and excels in heat dissipation performance by reducing contact thermal resistance, and to increase durability under high-temperature high-humidity conditions and improve reliability at mounting of the thermally conductive silicone grease composition excellent in heat dissipation performance and workability. SOLUTION: The thermally conductive silicone grease composition comprises (A) 100 pts.vol. organopolysiloxane having a specific structure and kinematic viscosity at 25°C of 10-10,000 mm 2 /s, (B) 0.1-50 pts.vol. alkoxysilane having a specific substituent and (C) 100-2,500 pts.vol. heat-conductive filler. A slurry composition for use as a lubricant and/or a stable suspension medium to suspend inert organic or inorganic particles which is an aqueous or polar solvent carrier containing gel particles as a lubricating and suspending agent for inert organic or inorganic particles. The composition can contain inorganic salts to provide additional electrostatic repulsion.

A grease composition comprising a grease containing, in a base oil thereof, from 2 to 40% by weight, based on the total composition, of tricalcium phosphate [Ca₃(PO₄)₂], the grease further containing (A) from 0.5 to 10% by weight, based on the total composition, of a molybdenum dialkyldithiocarbamate sulfide and (B) from 0.1 to 5% by weight, based on the total composition, of at least one of a zinc dialkyldithiophosphate and triphenyl phosphorothionate. The grease composition is excellent in mechanical stability, heat resistance, extreme pressure properties, and wear resistance.
