Abstract: An assembly for detecting defects on a bodywork of a motor vehicle that includes a gantry, of inverted U-shaped cross section, shaped to allow the passage of the motor vehicle in a longitudinal direction, from the rear of the gantry to the front of the gantry. The gantry includes an inner surface extending transversely between two lateral free ends and includes a light source suitable for illuminating, the bodywork, the gantry including at least one opaque strip extending transversely over the entire length of the inner surface. The assembly includes a plurality of cameras installed at a distance from the gantry to capture images of the bodywork of the motor vehicle, and a detection member for detecting defects in the bodywork.

Abstract: A tool stabilization mechanism is disclosed including a stabilizing device connected to a tool and movable between a deployed position and a non-deployed position, and an actuator for actuating the stabilizing device to move between the deployed position and the non-deployed position. In some forms the tool stabilization mechanism is integrated into a borescope unit, while in other forms it may be an accessory attachable to conventional borescope units. Related methods to the above are also disclosed herein.

Abstract: Systems, separators and methods separate one or more solids from a fluid and utilize an automated pressure differential device to improve separation of the one or more solids and the fluid. The systems and methods comprise at least a pressure differential system adjacent a screen in a shaker for separating one or more solids from a fluid, the pressure differential system adapted to provide a pressure differential adjacent the screen in the shaker, a monitoring tool coupled to an actuated arm adjacent the shaker, the monitoring tool adapted to monitor the one or more solids and the fluid adjacent the screen in the shaker, and a controller in electrical communication with the pressure differential system, the monitoring tool and the actuated arm, wherein the controller adapted to control the pressure differential based on the monitoring of the one or more solids and the fluid adjacent the screen of the shaker.

Abstract: Disclosed is a residual toxicant detection device for detecting the amount of residual toxicants in an aqueous solution to be measured. The residual toxicant detection device includes an accommodation space formed from a shell, a water inlet and a water outlet positioned on the shell for the aqueous solution to flow therein and thereout, respectively, a sensing chamber in the accommodation space, a light source emitter and a light sensor positioned near the sensing chamber, the light source emitter emitting light of a wavelength range, the light sensor receiving the light passing through the sensing chamber, and a circuit board receiving sensing signals sensed by the light sensor, such that absorbance and a change of the absorbance of residual toxicants in the aqueous solution to be measured are calculated.

Abstract: An analysis system comprising a cartridge and an instrument being designed for operating the cartridge. The cartridge comprises a chamber sealed by a foil capable of protruding when the chamber is pressurized. The instrument comprises an analysis window and a detection portion designed for being crossed by a signal emitted from the chamber toward the instrument when the chamber is placed opposite the detection portion. The instrument further comprises docking means to place the chamber opposite the detection portion so that when the chamber is pressurized, the foil protrudes toward the detection portion. The analysis system is characterized in that it further comprises spacing means to ensure that, when the cartridge is docked on the instrument via the docking means and the chamber is pressurized, said spacing means ensure a gap between the foil and the detection portion.

Abstract: A sensor module configured to be worn by a subject includes a plurality of sensors configured to measure physiological information from the subject and/or environmental exposure information in a vicinity of the subject, a power source coupled to the plurality of sensors, and at least one processor configured to obtain data from the plurality of sensors only at certain time intervals in order to extend a life of the power source. The sensor module also includes a wireless chip configured to communicate data obtained from the plurality of sensors to a telecommunication device. The telecommunication device is configured to communicate the data obtained from the plurality of sensors to a remote database. One or more of the plurality of sensors may be activated and/or deactivated by the telecommunication device.
