Abstract:
PURPOSE: An analog-to-digital converter, an analog-to-digital converting method, and an electronic device are provided to improve resolution by setting each difference between adjacent shift signals to be different from the natural number multiples of the minimum resolution of an analog-to-digital converting unit. CONSTITUTION: A shift signal generating unit(20) generates n shift signals with different amplitudes. A combing unit generates n first signals by successively combining an input analog signal with n shift signals. An analog-to-digital converting unit(40) performs an analog-to-digital conversion operation for converting n first signals into n second signals. A signal processing unit(50) generates an output digital signal by processing n second signals. The shift signal generating unit generates n shift signals for setting each difference between adjacent shift signals to be different from the natural number multiples of the minimum resolution of the analog-to-digital converting unit.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An A/D circuit is provided to improve a resolution of a digital counter upon receiving a resistor input in a system inputting an analog signal for vehicle. CONSTITUTION: In an A/D circuit, resistors(R3,Rin) and resistors(R1,R2) are parallel-connected to a Sbatt voltage terminal. An input voltage from the common contact of the resistors(R3,Rin) and a reference voltage form the resistors(R1,R2) are input to an A/D converter(2). A shaping device(1) is connected between the Sbatt and the A/D converter. The standard voltage from the shaping device is input to the A/D converter. Therefore, a battery voltage is checked by inputting a reference voltage additionally as to measure an input voltage and compensate the variation of the battery voltage using a battery voltage for vehicle as a standard voltage without using a fixed voltage as a standard voltage of an analog input.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide systems and methods for improving efficiency of a data converter. SOLUTION: An example method generates a noise signal, alters the spectrum of the noise signal based on operation of an associated data converter, and supplies the altered spectrum noise signal to the associated data converter. The data converter is a digital-to-analog converter or an analog-to-digital converter. The altered spectrum noise signal is notched at frequencies of interest. The spectrum is altered by sending a signal generated by a random number generator to a delay device and adding the output of the delay device from the output of the random number generator. Also, the spectrum is altered by seeding first and second identical random number generators, delaying the operation of the first random number generator, and adding the output of the delayed first random number generator from the second random number generator. Es werden ein Verfahren zur digitalen Verarbeitung eines von wenigstens einem Messkanal-Sensor (14) bereitgestellten analogen Messsignals (16), dem ein Messkanal-Dithersignal (26) überlagert wird und bei dem das entstehende Messkanal-Überlagerungssignal (20) anschließend analog/digital-gewandelt wird, sowie eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens vorgeschlagen. Die erfindungsgemäße Vorgehensweise zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass das digitalisierte Messkanal-Überlagerungssignal (30) unmittelbar zur Adressierung von in einer Tabelle (34) hinterlegten korrekten Messwerten (36) herangezogen wird und dass die einzelnen adressierten digitalen korrekten Messwerte (36) als digitales korrektes Messsignal (38) von der Tabelle (34) bereitgestellt werden.
