Abstract:
This messaging system is for use in a peer to peer network including at least one depositary peer (PX, PR) adapted to store a message in one or more portions and to send a message notifying the completion of the storage of that portion to at least one superpeer (SPX) of the peer (PX) of the depositor (X) of the message (M). This superpeer (SPX) is adapted to send a notice of reception of the message to a peer (PY) of the addressee (Y) of that message, that notice including a list of the depositary peers (PX, PR) and an identifier of each of the portions of said message stored by each of the depositaries (PX, PR).
Abstract:
Method for setting substitute ringback tone of calling party to be identical with that of called party. A substitute ringback tone playing server 30 in the system checks whether there is a certain key input or key input stream from the calling party requesting of bringing substitute ringback tone of the called party. Responding to the request, a bringing server 70 sets the substitute ringback tone code of the calling party stored in a playing control server 40 as that of the called party. A user interface server 50 allows a user to select a substitute ringback tone among multiple tones stored in a database 62 to give to another person as a present.
Abstract:
A computer conferencing system is provided with a transmission signal synchronization scheme. An Audio signal frame has a synchronization (sync) signal. The formatted audio including the sync signal is transmitted, together with the video signal frame and data signal frame, to the remote conferencing system via a communications network, such as a PSTN. The conferencing system is provided with a synchronization signal generator coupled to the compressed signal output of the audio board by way of a mixer. Further, the system includes a multiplexer/demultiplexer that mutiplexes/demultiplexes compressed and formatted audio/video/data generated by the audio board, video board, and host processor, respectively, with the communication board for transmission to and reception from the remote conferencing system. A synchronization control unit is coupled to data input lines of the multiplexer/demultiplexer for enabling/disabling addition of the sync signal to the audio signal frame, and for selecting a sync signal source according to the priority set by a software module.
Abstract:
An automatic call synchronization system and method, in which a mobile terminal (101) transmits, when receiving an incoming calling signal and determining that an automatic call synchronization function is turn on, to a wireless signal transponder (104) a call synchronization request carrying the identification information of the mobile terminal (101) and the call information; the pattern recognizer (103), which is connected with the wireless signal transponder (104), authenticates the mobile terminal (101) according to the identification information of the mobile terminal (101), and transmits to a fixed terminal (102) a call access request carrying the identification information of the mobile terminal (101) and the call information through the wireless signal transponder (104) after the authentication is successful; the fixed terminal (102) calls the user of the mobile terminal (101) according to the identification information and the call information, and transmits, when the call is answered by the user using the fixed terminal (102), to the wireless signal transponder (104) a call access response and implements the conversation through a fixed phone operation network matched with the fixed terminal (102). In this way, the call charge may be saved, and automatically performing the call synchronization has flexibility and convenience, thus bringing convenience to the user.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a cloud agent processing method, device, and system. In the embodiments of the present invention, an agent server may receive an agent function operating request; send the agent function operating request to an agent call center; receive, after the agent call center processes the agent function operating request, an agent function processing result sent by the agent call center; if the agent function processing result is successful, set a function state of the agent server, so that the function state of the agent server corresponds to the agent function operating request; and send a state setting indication to an agent terminal by using the agent server, so that the agent terminal sets a state of a key indicator of an integrated key of the agent terminal. In the technical solutions, function association and state synchronization between the agent terminal and the agent server are implemented only by using the agent terminal, which avoids limited device options caused by tight coupling between an agent phone and the agent call center, and further avoids high implementation costs and subsequent high maintenance costs.

Abstract:
The application relates to a computer program having a functionality that facilitates initiating some connections between cellular telephony system users. The main advantages of implementing that functionality are related to increase of amount of connections and improved customer satisfaction for cellular telephony operator services. The functionality can be also used for marketing purposes. Method for network initiated redial comprising the steps of receiving, at a network subsystem, from a first mobile device a request to establish a first call with a second mobile device at a time T0; notifying the first mobile device about an unsuccessful attempt of establishing the first call with the second mobile device; the method further comprises the step of registering, at the network subsystem, an unsuccessful first call attempt between the first mobile device and the second mobile device at a time T0; receiving, at a network subsystem, from the second mobile device a request to establish a second call with the first mobile device at a time T3; notifying the second mobile device about an unsuccessful attempt of establishing a second call with the first mobile device; registering, at the network subsystem, an unsuccessful second call attempt between the second mobile device and the first mobile device at a time T3; verifying whether there occurred a simultaneous or substantially simultaneous calls situation between the first call and the second call; establishing a network initiated call between the first mobile device and the second mobile device when there occurred a simultaneous or substantially simultaneous calls situation between the first call and the second call.
Abstract:
A system, method and mobile device for initiating a voice call from the mobile device is provided. An expiration time is determined based on a time reference synchronized with a mobile call server. The mobile device transmits to the mobile call server a session initiation protocol (SIP) call initiation request comprising a destination number and the expiration time. A second call initiation request to a secondary contact number is initiated to establish the voice call to the destination number, when a response to the SIP call initiation request is not received from the mobile call server prior to the expiration time enabling reliable establishment of the voice call when the first attempt is unsuccessful. The mobile device does not have to wait on the mobile call server to determine a call failure and ensure that subsequent call initiation by the mobile device does not result in a call establishment collision with the mobile call server.
Abstract:
A participant in a three dimensional computer-generated virtual environment can control a dispersion pattern of his Avatar's voice such that the Avatar's voice may be directionally enhanced using simple controls. The audio dispersion envelope is designed to extend further in front of the Avatar and less to the Avatar's sides and rear. The audio dispersion envelope may be static or controllable to enable the distance the Avatar's voice travels within the virtual environment to be adjusted. Thus, the Avatar can whisper or "shout" in the virtual environment such that other Avatars, normally outside of hearing range of the Avatar, may selectively receive audio generated by the user. Separate audio streams are mixed for each user, from audio generated by users with Avatars within their Avatar's dispersion envelope. The volume of a particular contribution depends on the separation of the Avatars within the virtual environment.
Abstract:
A display apparatus, a control method thereof and a display system having the same are provided. The display apparatus includes: a communication unit; a memory in which the same data as that of an external display apparatus is loaded in the same reference address as that of the external display apparatus; and a controller which controls to change data loaded in a reference address corresponding to address information from the external display apparatus based on data change information from the external display apparatus and to display the changed data if the address information and the data change information are received from the external display apparatus via the communication unit. The display apparatus can control, without a server, data which is shared among a plurality of users in a video conference. A first master display apparatus has control authority, over at least one second slave display apparatus, during a data sharing session, of the shared data, via a synchronisation program.
