Abstract:
The invention provides a device that appends a recognition point for image joining to the extracted image and a recognition element thereof. The device is to provide a plurality of holding slots on a holding platform. Besides, a plurality of positioning slots is provided at the sidewall of each holding slot so that the holding slot can accommodate and fasten an object to be image-taken. Then, when the image of the object is extracted by the segmented extractions, the image of the positioning slot can also be extracted so as to obtain an image with a recognition mark. Thus, the recognition mark can be used as a benchmark for image joining in order to obtain a whole image of the object. Moreover, the recognition element is to provide a positioning opening concavely at the side edge of a sheet-body, and the positioning opening is tiny. Therefore, the invention can achieve an effect of easy, rapid, and precise image joining.
Abstract:
In order to accurately perform correction of focal distance and color of film before pre-scanning, the image at the generally center area of the first frame of film is read in a first pre-scan, auto-focusing and judgment between negative/positive is made, exposure parameters are set in a second pre-scanning, and the image is read in main scanning.
Abstract:
A transporting system for an image digitizer can handle both positive and negative transparent film material. The transport features accurate linear motion with high resolution in a single compact unit. For the processing of individually framed slides, an automatic eject mechanism is provided. Both manual and motor driven focus adjustments are provided. Individual images can be oriented by an angular adjustment option. A special carrier allows the system to process negatives in uncut strips. The transport can manage larger number of images using either a slide tray or roll feed attachment.
Abstract:
A film scanner apparatus which is capable of accepting a plurality of film pictures different in film scene size from each other. The film scanner apparatus includes a line sensor for reading out a picture on the film scene, a scene size decision section for determining the size of the film scene and a selection section for selecting effective pixels of the line sensor in accordance with the decision result of the scene size decision section. A picture display is made on the basis of the outputs of the effective pixels chosen by the selection section.
Abstract:
An image input device capable of: reading images on 35 mm film and images on another type of film contained in a new photo system-adapted cartridge; converting the images into digital image signals; and, feeding the signals into a computer. The device is constructed in such a manner that one selected between film adaptors (100, 300) can be loaded in a groove portion (2) of a main device body. The film adaptor (100) can retain 35 mm film (401, 402), while the film adaptor (300) can retain a new photo system-adapted cartridge film (403). The images on the loaded film are read by a linear CCD image sensor (9) being caused to execute scanning. This scanning results in the digital image signals which then are fed into a computer and the like.
Abstract:
The improved image inputting apparatus for reading the image recorded on a transmission original comprises: a light source; an image sensor for photoelectrically reading the light that has issued from the light source and which has been transmitted through the original; an imaging lens for permitting the transmitted light to be focused on the image sensor; a focusing device for automatically adjusting a focus of the imaging lens; and a control device for controlling the focusing device before starting the reading of a new image group such that only the first frame of the image group is subjected to one-step automatic focusing or two-step automatic focusing consisting of coarse and fine adjustments whereas the other frames are not subjected to focusing but image reading is performed adopting the focus state of the first frame or are subjected to automatic focusing comprising only fine adjustment. The apparatus can allow projecting light that bears the image recorded on strips or slides to form a satisfactorily and accurately focused image on an image sensor such as CCD sensor, and also permit rapid and efficient image reading and thereby contribute to an improvement in the efficiency with which output images can be produced.
Abstract:
A compact video slide projector provides video image signals representing a recorded image on a 35 mm slide for display on a TV set or video monitor. Compactness is achieved by arranging an elongated video camera at right angles to the slide projection path of a slide projector/changer mechanism and directing image light from the projection path along a perpendicularly disposed camera input axis.
Abstract:
An imaging system comprises a lid having a light source disposed therein and a media carriage coupled to the lid. The media carriage is adapted to support at least two media objects and is movable relative to the light source to alternately expose the two media objects to the light source for generating scanned images thereof.
Abstract:
An original holder of an image reading apparatus that reads and image of an original based on an amount of an electric charge generated by a photoelectric conversion element due to received light, when the original placed on a placement surface is illuminated by a light source, including an original holder body placed on the placement surface while holding the original so as to position the original on the replacement surface and a filter member with a predetermined transmittance that transmits light from the light source to be received by the photoelectric conversion element.
