Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment capable of improving the convenience of a receiving side in particular about communication equipment capable of receiving image data and radio tag data and writing the received radio tag data in a radio tag. SOLUTION: A facsimile apparatus 1 can set "validity" and "invalidity" of a "radio tag saving mode" (S5). When the "radio tag saving mode" is set as "validity" in the facsimile apparatus 1 (S31: Yes), "the opposite party confirmation mode" is valid (S33: Yes), and radio tag data are prevented from being written in a radio tag 72 on receiving except when "reception permission" is set in a corresponding transmission source device 60 (S35: Yes). Abstract:
An image processing device, which performs an image-related process about an image in cooperation with another image forming device via a network, is provided with a device configuration detection portion for detecting a function that is added to the image processing device itself, and a new function information notifying portion for notifying another image processing device that a function is added to the image forming device.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement functions by a finisher to be carried out by another finisher as substitute. SOLUTION: When a primary finisher included in an image forming device cannot execute printing post-processing, due to an error or the like which has occurred in it, another finisher which has functions identical to the post-processing functions which should have been done by the primary finisher is searched for from the finisher information in the finisher profile storage region. When such a finisher is found, job control information which sets the finisher for implementing the post-processing is generated and transmitted to the finisher. The finisher implements the post-processing according to the job control information received. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem of a BOX function in a conventional network printer: because one can freely select an image output destination regardless of a security level of a job when inputting the job, data are sent to an image output device of an erroneous output destination even when erroneously selecting the output destination. SOLUTION: When requesting printing of print data of a printer from an image processor such as a PC, the print data are added with ID information, and are transmitted to a print server. The print server distinguishes whether the print data are added with the ID information or not, and controls transfer of the job to the desired printer on the basis of the security level of the ID information when added with the ID information. Abstract:
A receiver image processing apparatus capable of easily performing post-processing in line with a print setting. The receiver image processing apparatus includes printing means able to print image data on a plurality of types of sheets of different sizes. When an incoming call arrives from a sender image processing apparatus, determination means of the apparatus determines whether a setting to perform post-processing on sheets by post-processing means has been made by a setting unit (S801). If it is determined that the setting to perform post-processing has been made, notification means of the receiver image processing apparatus notifies size information representing a sheet size belonging to a predetermined series, as ability information of the apparatus, to the sender image processing apparatus (S802).
Abstract:
A facsimile communication system includes a first facsimile device that transmits image data and a second facsimile device. The second facsimile device includes a first receiving unit that receives the image data; an image-forming unit that forms an image based on the image data on a recording medium having a first storing part that is configured to store stored data; and a notifying unit that notifies the first facsimile device of the stored data.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal for recording an image based on received data on recording paper, the communication terminal capable of surely carrying out proper utilization and management applied to the recording paper on which the image is recorded on the basis of the received data. SOLUTION: The communication terminal 100 includes: a receiving means 1a for receiving data; a recording means 1e for recording the image based on the data received by the receiving means 1a on the recording paper; a selection and registration means T1 for registering the selection as to whether or not an RFID tag to which information can be written electronically is attached to the recording paper with the image recorded thereon by the recording means 1e and output in cross reference with prescribed information; an extract means 1b for extracting the prescribed information from the data received by the receiving means 1a or data acquired in relation to transmission/reception of the data; and a selection determining means 1d for determining the selection on the basis of the selection registered in the selection registration means T1 in cross reference with the prescribed information extracted by the extract means 1b. Abstract:
A method of a facsimile apparatus includes the steps of providing the facsimile apparatus with a memory which prestores identification information for a plurality of different facsimile machines having common specifications of optional frames, receiving a call for a facsimile communications operation using an optional frame and then identification information from a calling facsimile machine, verifying the identification information sent from the calling facsimile machine with the identification information prestored in the memory, canceling performance of the facsimile communications operation using the optional frame when the identification information sent from the calling facsimile machine is different from the identification information prestored in the memory, and executing the facsimile communications operation using the optional frame when the identification information sent from the calling facsimile machine is identical to the identification information prestored in the memory.
