    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anionic surfactant containing 2 polymerizable chains and 2 hydrophilic groups, having a high surface active function, necessitating only a small amount of the surfactant in the case of using as an emulsifier for emulsion polymerization, usable without unnecessarily leaving used surfactant compared with other emulsifying agents nor giving bad effects to characteristics such as waterproof property, oil-proof property or the like of the obtained film or coated film and free from global environment problems.
