Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anionic surfactant containing 2 polymerizable chains and 2 hydrophilic groups, having a high surface active function, necessitating only a small amount of the surfactant in the case of using as an emulsifier for emulsion polymerization, usable without unnecessarily leaving used surfactant compared with other emulsifying agents nor giving bad effects to characteristics such as waterproof property, oil-proof property or the like of the obtained film or coated film and free from global environment problems. SOLUTION: The cationic surfactant containing 2 polymerizable chains and 2 hydrophilic groups is expressed by general formula (1) [R is a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl; X is an oxygen atom or amino group (NH); m is an integer of 2-8; n is an integer of 8-20; and p is an integer of 2-6]. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mesoporous silica produced by using a novel organic template capable of easily retaining its lamella structure because of no occurrence of contact among layers upon surfactant removal and capable of forming a lamella structure with the aid of a small amount of a surfactant. SOLUTION: The mesoporous silica is derived from (1) an organic template being a mixed aqueous solution of an anionic surfactant and a cationic surfactant and (2) a silica source. SOLUTION: The mesoporous titania particle is characterized in that the wall film of the mesopore has a crystal structure. The manufacturing method of mesoporous titania particle is characterized by mixing a cation surfactant and oxidized titanium sulfate in water, and then removing the cation surfactant. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing nano-particles of gold by which the nano-particles of the gold-only or the nano-particles of the single-crystal gold can be produced and this production is easily performed because no impurities such as a surface active agent exist in the gold. SOLUTION: To a liquid phase for dispersion, a mixture of a precursor of the gold as a hydrate and a dispersion assistant, is added and thereafter, the precursor of the gold is finely dispersed into the above liquid-phase by irradiating the whole body with ultrasonic wave. and thereafter, the precursor of the gold is reduced by further irradiating the resultant body with the ultrasonic wave to produce the nano-particles of the gold. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nanocapsule manufacturing method capable of well and certainly manufacturing a nanocapsule prepared by coating a wax phase becoming a target substance to be encapsulated with a target capsule medium without using an auxiliary agent such as a polymerization initiator or a surfactant with good production efficiency in a short time by a mass production system. SOLUTION: A mixture, which is composed of a monomer of a capsule medium for forming the nanocapsule comprising a monomer and a wax phase becoming a substance to be encapsulated in the nanocapsule and heated to a melting point or above, is added to a dispersing liquid phase and the whole is irradiated with ultrasonic waves to disperse fine droplets coated with a material to be encapsulated in the liquid phase by the capsule medium and further irradiated with ultrasonic waves to polymerize the capsule medium of the fine droplets to produce the nanocapsule.
