The present disclosure provides a method and device for paging. A method for paging performed by a base station of a first communication system, may comprise: receiving, from a UE, a message including information about paging configuration of a second communication system; and sending, to the UE, a message for configuring a measurement interval for the second communication system of the UE, according to the information about the paging configuration of the second communication system.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for configuring uplink and downlink carriers. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the UE determines according to received uplink and downlink carrier configuration signaling, the pairing between the uplink and downlink carriers, and/or a timing reference downlink carrier for the uplink, and/or a pathloss reference cell for the uplink. Thus, the uplink and downlink carriers may be configured more flexibly. Further, through the configuration of the reference downlink carrier for the uplink timing and the uplink power control, the carrier aggregation performance and that on the unlicensed band may be supported more effectively, so as to improve the performance of the LTE system.
Abstract:
The present application discloses a method and apparatus for a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) transmission. An embodiment of the HARQ transmission method for the communication apparatus comprises: receiving configuration information related to a cross-carrier HARQ transmission from a base station, an initial transmission and a re-transmission of the HARQ transmission processable on different physical component carriers; receiving downlink control information from the base station, the downlink control information including control information for the cross-carrier HARQ transmission; and performing the cross-carrier HARQ transmission according to the configuration information and the downlink control information. By using the embodiments of the present invention, the HARQ transmission for the same data on a plurality of physical component carriers can be realized, and thus the effectiveness of the HARQ transmission is improved.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a pre-5 th -Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4 th -Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a channel state information measurement method, including: receiving, by a user equipment (UE), resource indication information for a CSI measurement; performing, by the UE, the CSI measurement according to the resource indication information, and transmitting a Channel Quality Indicator (CQI) report to a control node. According to the present disclosure, users may be scheduled by the base station more effectively and the efficiency of the whole network may be increased.
Abstract:
A frequency hopping method in GERAN/VAMOS system, comprising steps of: for a user in VAMOS subchannel 1, calculating a frequency used in each frame in accordance with a frequency hopping solution in the GSM standard; for a user in VAMOS subchannel 2, changing its own MAIO value in each frame or every two or more frames, and calculating a frequency used in current frame in combination with a hopping sequence number HSN and a current frame number. With the method of this invention, frequency hopping solution is changed only for the user in subchannel 2, while frequency hopping solution for the user in subchannel 1 is not changed. Frequency diversity and customer diversity are realized without causing additional computational complexity.
Abstract:
A method for managing user context by a Home Evolved NodeB (HENB) is provided, which comprises steps of: requesting, by a mobility management entity (MME), the HENB to reserve a first type of UE context information; obtaining, by the HENB, the MME of the UE according to the first type of UE context information after receiving data; and notifying, by the HENB, the MME of arrival of the data. With the method according to the present invention, it is guaranteed by a HENB system that a terminal can receive downlink signaling after activation of a local routing optimization service by the terminal.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting multicast data in a WiMax/WiBro relay system, including transmitting carrier-interference-noise ratios from UEs to corresponding Relays; selecting the minimum value among the carrier-interference-noise ratios; determining the modulation and coding mode according to the selected minimum value; transmitting the modulation and coding mode to BS; selecting a modulation and coding mode with a highest rate for multicast data on an access link; transmitting the final modulation and coding mode to the Relays; and transmitting data via the access link with the modulation and coding mode determined by the BS.
Abstract:
A system and method for transmitting downlink schedule in a WiMax/WiBro relay system is proposed in present invention. In present invention, the task of transmitting the schedule is dispersed from the BS to both of the BS and RS so that several RS may transmit the schedule items simultaneously and therefore the resource of the system is saved.
