Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing a printed circuit board made of a reinforced synthetic resin laminate capable of preventing the damage of a reinforcing material by eliminating drilling work in a laminated sheet molding process. CONSTITUTION: In a method for producing a composite comprising one set of filament sections bonded in a curable continuous phase matrix substance, the composite is formed as a large number of laminates of filament sections 322, 324 wherein filament sections 322 are almost in the same direction and the filament sections 322 of at least one layer in the set are arranged at a predetermined angle with respect to the filament sections 324 of other layer. Further, the above mentioned layers are brought to mirror image relation with respect to the symmetric surface 310 parallel to the layers of the set and filaments are arranged in the almost same direction under the same tensile force.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To achieve the reduction of labor by making it possible to eliminate drilling work of a drill or a punch partially or wholly and to prevent the damage of a reinforcing material and to reduce cost as a whole by forming a hole required in the use of a finished product in a molding process for a reinforced laminated sheet. CONSTITUTION: A frame 20 comprising a mandrel provided with two surfaces having the flatness corresponding to the desirable flat surface and finish of a composite and the flatness corresponding to finish and the finish, a filament supply source 80 and a drive means for winding a filament around the frame so that all of filament sections on either one of the sides of the frame become right-angled or parallel mutually are provided.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacturing a reinforced laminated synthetic resin printed circuit board which saves labor by cutting boring work such as drilling and punching partially or totally, can prevent a reinforcing material from being damaged, and reduces costs in the molding process of a reinforced laminated plate. CONSTITUTION: In advance of the irreversible curing, or crosslinking, of a curable matrix material, at least one set of filament section 322 is formed as numbers of the laminated layers of filament sections 322, 324 in which the filament section 322 of each layer is generally in the same direction, and the filament section 322 of at least one layer in such a set is arranged at a prescribed angle to the filament section 324 of another layer, and layers are arranged so that the layers are in a symmetric relationship to a parallel symmetric surface 310 to a layer of the set, and filaments are generally arranged in the same direction under the same tension.

Abstract: A warp-free laminate is produced by winding a first set of strands or filaments (34) about a flat mandrel with a second set of strands (36) being wound transverse to the first set. The two sets may be perpendicular to each other. The filaments are maintained under a controlled tension while being impregnated with a resin and during subsequent cure of the resin. In order to permit the formation of a warp-free product, the winding pattern is such that it forms a mirror image about a neutral axis or plane of symmetry. The winding pattern may be chosen to provide interstices in a predetermined pattern permitting punching out or high speed drilling of hole openings (106, 108, 110, 112, 114) for subsequent printed circuit applications.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a laminated sheet high in thickness accuracy by introducing a curable resin sufficient to fill all of gaps within the vol. of a desired composite into the filament structure in a vacuum chamber and holding the filament structure between a pair of opposed surfaces at a predetermined interval during the curing of the resin. CONSTITUTION: A mandrel 20 is perfectly immersed in a resin soln. 244 along with the spiral winding wound around the mandrel and, when the mandrel becomes a vacuum state by a pump 26, a semi-finished product is perfectly impregnated with a resin. A rod 266 is drawn up to take the mandrel 20 out of the resin soln. 244 and the excessive resin soln. is removed while a part of the remaining resin soln. is kept around the winding by its thixotropy. Piston- cylinder combination members 278, 280 are moved and the outer plates 270, 272 of a mold member are brought into contact with the stopper on the mandrel 20. The stopper determines the accurate thickness of a completed laminated sheet. In this state, the winding on the mandrel is heated.
