    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flange cover which is mounted on a vehicle and prevented from being deformed. SOLUTION: A flange cover 10 to be mounted on a vehicle has a core member 36. An elastomeric skin is disposed about the core member 36. A longitudinally extending hollow cavity 52 arranged between an outer surface of the elastomeric skin and the core member is formed within the elastomeric skin. At least one of longitudinally extending ribs 60 is projected from one of an exterior edge 56 and an interior edge 58 of the hollow cavity to the other of the interior edge and the exterior edge of the hollow cavity, and terminated in the hollow cavity. The rib prevents any contact between the exterior edge and the interior edge of the hollow cavity, and prevents any deformation of an outer surface of the elastomeric skin.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide embodiments of a fluid fitting, and system incorporating the fluid fitting therein, which is compatible with harsh, caustic environments such as those environments found in the automotive industry. SOLUTION: In one embodiment, the fluid fitting 200 can comprise a conductive element 220 with a fluid pathway 208 for transporting a fluid, e.g., fuel. The fluid fitting 200 comprises a non-conductive element 218 that is coupled to the conductive element 220 in a manner discharging electrons from the conductive element 220. The non-conductive element 218 comprises a cavity 224 with an opening exposing a sensing device 210 with a sensing element 212 disposed on a sensing element housing 214.
