Abstract: A system for determining location and parameters of constant length and variable length string fields within a plurality of messages of a given type, the system comprising a processing circuitry configured to: (a) obtain the plurality of messages of the given type, each of the messages comprised of a sequence of bytes; (b) determine, for each of the messages of the given type, an index byte, being a first byte of a sequence of bytes of each of the respective messages; (c) determine, for the index byte of each of the messages: (A) a message string plausibility score, indicating a plausibility that a part of the respective messages starting at the index byte is a string field, based on analysis of a content of the part of the respective messages, and (B) a string candidate length indicating a number of character bytes of the bytes of the respective message, starting at the index byte, each of the character bytes having a character value; (d) upon a criterion based on (A) the message string plausibility scores and (B) the string candidate lengths, being met, determine that the index byte is a start of a variable length string, and upon the criterion not being met, repeat (c)-(d) with the index byte being a byte, subsequent to the index byte, if any.

Abstract: A radio transceiver that includes a multi-channel receiver, a multi-channel transmitter and a controller is disclosed. The multi-channel receiver can be configured to concurrently receive first data frames, each including: (a) first data slots that are received over a first frequency channel that is variable between the first data slots, and (b) an error correction code (ECC). Concurrently, the multi-channel transmitter can be configured to transmit second data frames, each including second data slots that are transmitted over a second frequency channel that is variable between the second data slots, the first frequency channel and the second frequency channel being within a common frequency band. The controller can be configured to use the ECC of a respective first data frame of the first data frames to correct self-interference-based errors in the respective first data frame resulting from the transmission of one or more of the second data frames.

The at least one image acquisition device comprises at least one first image sensor and imaging optics having an optical axis for guiding light received from the scene along the optical axis onto the at least one first image sensor. The system is configured to determine a polarization filter orientation such that an amount of specular light reflections incident onto the at least one first image sensor is reduced or eliminated.

Abstract: A system and method for detecting movement of an object outside a line-of-sight of a camera is disclosed. The camera acquires images of a target that is impacted by light that is scattered from the object and by ambient light, and of a reference that is impacted by the ambient light. A processing circuitry can be configured to detect the movement of the object by calculating, for each of a plurality of acquired images, a compensated light intensity value (LIV), being a target LIV that is based on pixels in the respective acquired image that represent the target, as modified, based on a reference LIV that is based on pixels in the respective acquired image that represent the reference, to reduce an effect, on the target LIV, of changes in the ambient light during a time period between acquiring a given image and the acquiring of the respective acquired image.

Abstract: A system for measuring temperature of one or more subjects within a scene including a reference object having an unknown emissivity, having an ambient temperature, the system comprising: a visible spectrum camera capable of acquiring images of the scene comprising (a) at least a Region of Interest (Rol) of each of the subjects, and (b) the reference object; a thermal image sensor capable of acquiring images of the scene comprising (a) at least the Rol of each of the subjects, and (b) the reference object; and a processing circuitry configured to: obtain (a) a visible spectrum image captured by the visible spectrum camera, and (b) a thermal image captured by the thermal image sensor, and (c) an indication of a scene ambient temperature within the scene; register the visible spectrum image and the thermal image onto a common coordinate system; identify (a) Rol pixels, on the common coordinate system, of the Rols of the subjects within the visible spectrum image, (b) reference object pixels, on the common coordinate system, of the reference object within the visible spectrum image and (c) a parameter correlated to an emissivity of the reference object, based on the reference temperature and on the indication of the scene ambient temperature; determine (a) Rol temperatures by analyzing respective Rols pixels on the thermal image, and (b) a reference temperature by analyzing the reference object pixels on the thermal image; and upon existence of a difference between the reference temperature and the scene ambient temperature, correct the Rol temperatures, based on the difference and utilizing the parameter, to compensate for the difference, giving rise to corrected Rol temperatures.
