    Abstract: PURPOSE: To connect a flush water supply source to a bowl by way of a passageway coupling by connecting the flush water supply source to an inlet of a toilet bowl by way of the coupling formed of a passageway, providing an inlet for accumulating drainage in a chamber between the couplings, and allowing the drainage accumulated in the chamber to pass through a valve. CONSTITUTION: A coupling 36 connects a vessel in a tank 14 to a bowl 12. The coupling 36 is made up of a chamber for accumulating drainage exhausted in a passageway 98 and the tank 14, and a valve 74 for controlling fluid communication between the chamber and an orifice 96. Then, the drainage accumulated in the chamber is allowed to pass through the valve 74, and large fluid communication from the orifice 96 to the chamber is avoided. Thus, an improved coupling which connects a pressurized flush water supply source to the toilet bowl can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent the decorative appearance of a handle neck part from being damaged by providing a thimble and 1st and 2nd lateral members to be engaged into its openings. CONSTITUTION: A sleeve 12 to be linked through a fastener 16 to a supporter is provided. The sleeve 12 has facing lateral openings 23 and is provided with a thimble 25 having openings 26 matched with the lateral openings 23, 1st lateral member 30 to be engaged into one opening 26 of the thimble 25, 2nd lateral member 30 non-integrated with the 1st lateral member so as to be engaged into the other opening 26 of the thimble 25, and connectors 29 and 31 with screw threads arranged between the terminal parts of the thimble 25 so as to hold the thimble 25 and the 1st and 2nd members 30 at prescribed positions. Thus, a decorative water tap handle of its similitude can be fixedly connected to a valve spindle 11 without requiring any exposed fitting screws.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain an inexpensive exhaust gas control system for a small-sized engine with high reliability. CONSTITUTION: An O2 sensor 10 is mounted on an exhaust gas manifold 8 of an engine 9 to detect the oxygen level in exhaust gas and output an analog signal. The analog signal is inputted to a comparator 20 via a buffer circuit 12 and op amps 13, 14. The comparator 20 compares a reference signal 19 with the analog signal and inputs high and low output signals to a flip-flop circuit 21. The flip-flop circuit 21 inputs the signal to a stepper motor control unit 25 in response to the clock pulse from a clock 23. The stepper motor control unit 25 outputs a control signal based on that signal and the clock pulse from the clock 23 and drives a stepper motor 22 via a stepper motor drive unit 26. A fault detector circuit 30 stops the engine and simultaneously turns on a fault indication lamp 32 when the analog signal is abnormal.
