PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage box capable of keeping doctor blades without being damaged. SOLUTION: The storage box for the doctor blades is a polygonal structure, a reel (R) formed by the doctor blades (t 1 , t 2 ) is arranged in its inside. The doctor blades (t 1 , t 2 , etc.) can be pulled out from the reel (R) which locates inside the storage box (10) by passing through the opening section (11) in the side face of the storage box. The storage box (10) includes a bearing means, preferably at least one separate disk in its inside, and this disk is arranged turnably in the side face of the reel (R) formed with the doctor blades. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for separation of separable constituents from a liquid medium, capable of evading mechanical regeneration which involves touching of a filter membrane or a porous layer on it in cross flow membrane filtration. SOLUTION: According to the invention, a rotor is used in which the essentially plane surface of rotor wings directed toward a filter comprises one or more areas 20 deviating from the surface, or the surface 19 of the rotor wings directed toward the filter is curved in such a way that a distance between the surface of the wing and the filer is small at the inner portion of the rotor and gradually increases toward the periphery of the rotor, or the section of the rotor wings in the plane parallel with the filter forms an almost S-shaped surface, whereby the S-shape is continuous. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexure compensation roll having improved profiling performance and reduced power consumption. SOLUTION: A load member 30 has a spindle 36 connected to a roll shaft 2. A load shoe 37 having a sliding surface 38 facing to the inner face of a roll shell 3 is installed on the spindle. At least one lubricating oil chamber 32 is formed on the sliding surface of the load shoe. A space is formed in the load shoe for accepting the upper end of the spindle and a load chamber 35 is formed between the bottom of the space and the upper end of the spindle. sealing means 39 is installed at the upper part of the spindle for preventing the flow of an oil out of the load chamber between the spindle and the accepting space. Small oil pockets 33 are formed opposite at least both sides of the spindle on the circumferential side of the roll shell for performing resistance to the inclination of the load shoe in the circumferential direction. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solution that allows an edge guide to greatly increase a time of a coating process, under certain circumstances, to 10 times or more, prolong the durable hours of a delicate coating agent from the present about 2 hours to about 4 hours, and prolong the durable hours of a lightweight coating agent from about 8 hours to maximum about 80 hours or more. SOLUTION: An edge guide controls a coating agent curtain 11 formed by the curtain coating method toward a contact point with a web W to be coated. The edge guide 4 includes a suction slit 5 disposed in the area of its discharge edge, and the lower side edge of the suction slit forms a lower side lip 7. Lubricating liquid feed mechanism 8, 9 are disposed behind the suction slit and guides a lubricating liquid to the area of the lower side lip 7 of the suction slit to prevent the dry up of the coating agent at the lower side lip 7. SOLUTION: Provided is a re-humidification suppressing apparatus for suppressing the back flow of released white water w at a press part 2 of a paper machine and on the downstream side of a press device 4 for pressing and dehydrating wet paper 1 across a water-absorptive felt. The re-humidification suppressing apparatus comprises pickup blades 35a-35c disposed just downstream of the press device 4 and on the back of an upper felt 6a for scooping the white water w separated to the back side of the upper felt, means 353 and 354 for establishing a vacuum pressure between the back face of the upper felt and the blade faces 351 and 352, which confront the back face of the upper felt, of the pickup blades, and guide means 16 for guiding a lower felt 6b so that the lower felt may leave the upper felt 6a from the starting point of the set positions of the pickup blades. SOLUTION: On an applicator bar 1, a supplying chamber 12 extending in the longitudinal direction (W) of a coating device is provided, and the coating material is led to the supplying chamber with a supplying element. The curtain coating device has a nozzle slit 30 bonded with the supplying chamber on the flow, and the coating material is led from the supplying chamber to the nozzle slit and then led to the outside of a flow-out opening 31. On a separately provided interchangeable component, a supplying opening of a supplying block 50 for the coating material introduced to the supplying chamber and/or a supplying hole formed between the supplying chamber and the nozzle slit are formed.
