    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge assembly for an automobile which facilitates motion of a closure panel relative to a fixed vehicle body structure.SOLUTION: A hinge assembly includes: a door side component 40 which is composed of two press-formed L-shaped brackets structurally connected to each other by a pivot pin 90 and is mounted to a vehicle closure panel; and a vehicle side component 60 which is composed of two press-formed L-shaped brackets structurally connected to each other by a simple formed feature part and the pivot pin 90 and is mounted to a vehicle body structure of a vehicle. The pivot pin 90 structurally assembles the two hinge components 40, 60, facilitates relative rotary motion between the two hinge components 40, 60, and structurally connects the multiple press-formed L-shaped brackets, whereby the resulting assembly achieves much higher material efficiency and greatly reduces associated costs in comparison with conventional techniques.

SOLUTION: A door component 2 having upper and lower pivot arms 7 and a mount surface 6 and mounted on the vehicular closure panel and a body component 3 having upper and lower pivot arms 12 and a mount surface 11 and mounted on a vehicular body rotate around a common pivot shaft 10. The upper side pivot arm 12 of the body component 3 is equipped with a columnar protrusion 14 extending upward the arm. The door component 2 dimensionally determines a position of the closure panel and the body structure by an outside columnar bearing surface 20 of the columnar protrusion 14, and is alternately inserted into the body component 3. The pivot shaft 10 passes and extends through both of the pivot arms 7 and 12 so as to form a double hang pivot joint.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the complexity of an automatic sliding door opening and closing system. SOLUTION: A system combined component moves the sliding door of an automobile over the operating range as providing the safeties of users. The automatic sliding door opening and closing system is provided with the drive system of a continuous electric belt provided in the main body of a vehicle and a clamp position. A clamp device enables a door to be fixedly installed on the belt drive system so that the door of the vehicle is moved automatically along the predetermined route and can be released under the predetermined condition. An electric belt drive system is provided so as to be combined with the one of three main body tracks of the standard hinge system of the door of a van. The clamp device may be a rotation device biased to work for the both side of a belt with a cam and a spring device.
