    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric barrier discharge lamp with a coaxial double tube structure and with an improved internal electrode.SOLUTION: A dielectric barrier discharge lamp comprises: a discharge container having an outer tube and an inner tube; a first electrode arranged inside the inner tube; and at least another electrode. The inner tube is coaxially arranged in the outer tube, and the inner tube and the outer tube are coupled with each other in an airtight manner. A discharge space filled with a discharge medium is formed between the inner tube and the outer tube. A first electrode is formed as a tube, and two or more axially directional slits are provided on the tube.
