PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength conversion casting material from which an electroluminescence element can be produced which emits homogeneous mixed-colored light and can be mass-produced at a reasonable engineering expense with maximally replicable component characteristics.SOLUTION: The wavelength conversion casting material 5 is provided for the electroluminescence element equipped with an LED chip 1 which emits ultraviolet light, blue light and/or green light, and the material 5 uses, as a base material, transparent epoxy casting resin with a luminous substance admixed, in which inorganic luminous substance pigment powder comprising luminous substance pigments 6 consisting of the group of fluorescent substance having general formula: ABX:M (in which A represents Y, Gd or Lu, B represents Al or Ga, X expresses O, and M represents Ce, Tb, Eu, Cr, Nd, or Er) is dispersed in the transparent epoxy casting resin, and the luminous substance pigment powder has an iron content of 5 ppm or less.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a high-pressure discharge lamp so as to increase reliability of an electrical lead-in, to reduce the resistance, to reduce the starting voltage of the lamp, and to increase the luminous efficiency.SOLUTION: Means placed between a lead conductor and an extension line is configured to limit the ohmic resistance between the lead conductor and the extension line to at most 10 kΩ, and advantageously to at most 100 Ω.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric barrier discharge lamp with a coaxial double tube structure and with an improved internal electrode.SOLUTION: A dielectric barrier discharge lamp comprises: a discharge container having an outer tube and an inner tube; a first electrode arranged inside the inner tube; and at least another electrode. The inner tube is coaxially arranged in the outer tube, and the inner tube and the outer tube are coupled with each other in an airtight manner. A discharge space filled with a discharge medium is formed between the inner tube and the outer tube. A first electrode is formed as a tube, and two or more axially directional slits are provided on the tube.

The first lens element 41 and second lens element 42 are not congruent with each other, and/or different in orientation on the first main surface 2. The first lens structure 4 has many lens elements having polygonal shapes respectively, the first main surface 2 has a center point, and the many lens elements occupy area, which shrinks as the distance from the center point increases, on the first main surface 2.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical power supply device which solves the problems of power supply devices of the known art.SOLUTION: A transformer included in the electrical power supply device has a primary winding having coupled thereto a main switch which is switchable on and off to connect and disconnect the primary winding with a supply source, and a secondary winding having coupled therewith a main branch for feeding a load and at least one auxiliary branch to provide an auxiliary power supply. The auxiliary branch includes a switching regulator with hysteresis which has an auxiliary switch sensitive to each of the voltage on the secondary winding and the voltage of the auxiliary power supply. The auxiliary switch is configured for closing to draw current from the main branch toward the auxiliary power supply in the presence of a negative transition of the voltage on the secondary winding and for opening when the voltage on the auxiliary power supply reaches an upper reference level.
