Abstract:
The invention relates to pipe heat insulation and in particular to methods of heat insulation installation on welded joints of subterranean pipes for transporting oil and oil products. The method includes applying an anticorrosive layer on the welded joint using heat-shrinkable polymeric tape, mounting heat insulating polyurethane foam pipe coverings on the tape, using tie straps with locks to secure the pipe coverings, gluing hot-melt adhesive tape at the edges of a pipe protective envelope to overlap the envelope and the pipe coverings, installing a metal casing symmetrically relative to the center of the weld joint, and sealing the metal casing and the envelope with a heat-shrinkable polymeric fabric. The technical result provides anticorrosive protection and heat insulation of the welded joint of steel pipelines, provides improved heat insulation installation on the pipeline, and reduces the cost of installation and labor intensity.
Abstract:
Pile foundations for power transmission towers or the like for installation in different types of soil prone to frost heaving include a casing pipe and a dipped pile, comprising a shaft and a toe bulb, secured at the bottom of the shaft. The pile comprises rigid elements that are mounted on the shaft in the direction of horizontal forces acting on the pile against the anticipated horizontal loads. The rigid elements transfer horizontal forces from the pile to the casing pipe.
Abstract:
The invention relates to thermal engineering construction, particularly to individual seasonal cooling devices, or temperature stabilizers of soils. The solution is aimed to expand temperature ranges at which temperature stabilizers can be installed and to prevent debris from sealing materials from entering into the well cavity having a coolant. The device contains a temperature stabilizer that functions as a two-phase thermal siphon and includes an aboveground condensing part and underground transporting and vaporizing parts. The temperature stabilizer is placed into the well along with coolant. The well is a hollow cylindrical body with a bottom and a capping element at a top end. The capping element includes a hole for receiving of the temperature stabilizer. The capping element is a detachable stuffing-box seal that includes a support ring installed on a round step in the well, a pressure ring, and thermally expanded graphite rings pressed therebetween.

The invention relates to the field of construction, particularly to welding of above- and underground high-strength pipelines with controlled heat input. Application of the invention will increase the load-bearing capacity of the pipelines made with the use of butt-welded pipes, pipe spools, pipe strings. The method includes joining of two or more cylindrical metal pipes, pipe spools and pipe strings by the welded ring butt with the use of the arc welding for the whole perimeter of the pipe. Criteria for a high-quality welded joint include optimal selection of parameters of the welding thermic cycle. The suggested welding method allows to have the optimal structure, high strength and viscoplastic properties in areas of the welded joint, to provide for the required load-bearing capacity of the pipeline and its reliability during operation.
Abstract:
The invention relates to engineering geodesy for monitoring a height and deformation of a pipeline. The invention includes use of a complex of interrelated monitoring measures that include monitoring a control position of deformation control benchmarks using optic geodetic devices and mobile satellite geodetic receivers. A state geodetic network is used only at an initial stage for reference of the network sites to the local system of coordinates. Geodetic measurements are then converted to a local system of coordinates. The invention decreases an amount of time and labor for detection of the oil pipeline coordinates for operational needs and simplifies a planned high-altitude position data exchange, storage and transfer during measurement.
Abstract:
The disclosure relates to the construction of a support for above-ground pipelines and can be used for laying pipelines in in permafrost and on slopes. The result of the support is uniform distribution of the load from the pipeline to a bedding cradle, displacement of a movable part in response to predetermined conditions, and prevention of deformation due to soil heaving. The result is achieved due to inclusion of moving and fixed parts. The movable part includes a semi-cylindrical cradle with two semi-annular frames on the outside of the cradle, detachable half-yokes fix the pipe in the cradle, side cheeks welded to the frame and movably fixed to the tower base by a hinged joint, and a base slidably positioned on a stationary surface of the support. The objective is also solved using a support assembly being structurally different than prior art supports, as described herein.
Abstract:
A heat-insulated box for insulating parallel-slide valves includes multiple sections each including an outer protective steel envelope with a heat insulation coating on an inner surface. A number and configuration of sections is determined based on geometric parameters of the insulated valve. Some sections include two semi-cylindrical segments rigidly coupled together and oriented in mutually perpendicular directions such that one segment can be installed on the valve and one segment can be installed on the pipeline. The box also includes stiffeners at the junction of the two semi-cylindrical segments. The sections include shock-absorbing sealing gaskets made of cellular rubber substance to ensure a tight seal of the box. The box includes a locking mechanism for coupling the sections together.
Abstract:
A heat-insulated tank with a volume of 200-20,000 m3 for storage of oil and oil products includes a heat-insulated wall, roof and bottom installed on a foundation. The wall and roof are equipped with supporting discharge skirts forming sections, the heat-insulated coating made of foam glass blocks that fill sections and form control joints in the heat insulation coating. The tank includes a top coat made of metal sheets located at an external surface of foam glass blocks. The foam glass blocks including a lower row of detachable blocks and additional rows coupled to each other and a surface of the tank via an adhesive. The technical result is improved safety and strength of the tank heat insulation at loads on its structure caused by filling and discharge of the raw material and environmental factors, and relatively even temperature control of the oil and oil products.
Abstract:
A method for installing pile foundations for power transmission towers or the like in different types of soil prone to frost heaving provides piles with bearing capacity against horizontal loads, reduced labor content and installation cost, and increased reliability against the impact of frost heaving forces of the soil on the pile. A casing pipe is driven in and then the pile is inserted into it, while installing rigid elements on the pile shaft by welding. When driving the pile, when a mark indicating a point of installation for a rigid element reaches the top of the casing pipe, a geometric measurement of gaps is made between the casing pipe and the pile. Based on the measurement, rigid elements are sized and welded in pairs on the opposite side in a vertical plane. The operation of placing and welding is then repeated during the pipe inserting.
