    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment tool which easily rotates an antenna to the proper orientation determined by the installation orientation of a field device.SOLUTION: A field device 100 includes a housing having an exterior surface 103, an inner surface 105 enclosing a main cavity 117, and an opening 114 extending from the main cavity 117 to the exterior surface 103. An electric component 28 is housed in the main cavity 117 of the housing. An antenna 18 electrically connects with the electric component 28. Further, the field device 100 includes a rotary attachment tool 110 attached to the housing 102. The attachment tool 110 has a channel 120 extending from a first end part 118 to a second end part 122 of the attachment tool. A cable 182 electrically connects with the electric component 28 and the antenna 18 and extends passing at least a part of the channel 120.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector that protects the pressure sensor stem projecting from the pressure sensor capsule from breaking.
    SOLUTION: The electrical connector 50 protects a pressure sensor stem that projects from a pressure sensor capsule. The electrical connector 50 comprises base a plate 52 that possesses a central hole 54, and surrounding walls 56 that are connected with the base plate 52 and overhung below the base plate 52. Surrounding walls 56 can be slidably engaged with the pressure sensor capsule, when the pressure sensor stem penetrates through the central hole 54 and it projects above the base plate 52. A protection wall 60, connected with the base plate 52, overhangs above the pressure sensor stem, so as to protect the pressure sensor stem. A lead frame 64 in the protection wall 60 provides electrical connection to the sensor contact pad on the pressure sensor stem.

SOLUTION: A mapping circuit is coupled to the integrator circuit of the delta-sigma converter to map the analog input range of the integrator to the analog output range of the sensor. The integrator circuit provides an integrator output to a controller to generate a digital output, which is in a digital output range representing the analog input range. A sensor input circuit includes a sensor having an analog sensor output range. The mapping circuit is coupled to the integrator circuit and is responsive to control signals from the controller to map the analog input range of the integrator to the analog output range of the sensor.

SOLUTION: The small volume space of a housing 76 is fully filled with silicone oil, and opened toward a separate chamber for transmitting the pressure operating on an isolation film 77 via a small passage 92. The pressure deflects a sensing film. The pressure opening to the sensing film to give a brake is constituted by a laser perforated hole formed in a cover 88. The oil in a small volume brake chamber must flow through the passage 92 in response to the deflection of the film 77 so as to brake the frequency response of the film 77. The response of the film 77 is mechanically braked to eliminate the additional filtering in the sending circuit to be used.
