Abstract: PURPOSE: A real time automatic watch controller of optical multiplex section optical device of wavelength division multiplex transmission system is provided to watch function state of optical device at real time and sense process status in view of network by setting up the critical point of communication failure automatically without control of system or network supervisor according to numbers of wavelength multiplex. CONSTITUTION: An optical multiplexor transmits multiprocessing multi-channel optical signal through one main optical line. An optical reverse multiplexor separate multiprocessing signals transmitted through one main optical line into channels to make reverse multiprocessing. An auxiliary optical line transmits watch-maintenance-repair channel between the optical multiplexor and optical reverse multiplexor. An automatic watch controller keep watch on operating status of optical multiplexor and optical reverse multiplexor at real time. An optical detection device decide existence status of optical signals by detecting multi-channel optical signal inputted into the optical multiplexor at each channels. A signal bottleneck detection and decision device sense location of each of channels and grosses of optical channel. A bottleneck-standard-value -created-device produce bottleneck standard value according to the gross of optical channel. A multiplex optical detection device detect multiprocessing signals which is output into one main optical line from the optical multiplexor. An optical intensity comparison part(50) determines the status of bottleneck of the optical multiplexor.
