    Abstract: Various embodiments herein disclose coordinating frequencies for an access point (AR). A corresponding method comprises evaluating a performance profile for the AR, the performance profile comprising a first part related to a first network generated by a first radio of the AR and a second part related to a second network generated by a second radio of the AR. The method also comprises selecting first channels on which the AR generates the first network based on the performance profile and spectral regrowth profiles for transmission power levels of the first radio. The method additionally comprises selecting second channels on which the AR generates the second network based at least in part on the performance profile and the spectral regrowth profiles. Furthermore, the method comprises enabling communications between a first set of devices on the first channels and enabling communications between a second set of devices on the second channels.

    Abstract: A method includes determining a corresponding level of a security model associated with each device of a plurality of devices connected to a network, each level of the security model having a corresponding tag; applying, to each of the plurality of devices, the corresponding tag based on the corresponding level of the security model with which each of the plurality of devices are associated; receiving, over a network connection, network traffic from at least one of the plurality of devices and the corresponding tag; analyzing the corresponding tag associated with the network traffic; determining a destination for the network traffic; applying one or more security measures to the network traffic based on the corresponding tag for the at least one device and a corresponding tag of the destination for the network traffic; and sending the network traffic to the destination with the corresponding tag of the destination.

    Abstract: A method includes performing a first iteration of automated frequency coordination (AFC) using geospatial coordinates of a first access point at a site and a first margin of error to determine a first number of allowed channels for the first access point and performing a second iteration of AFC using the geospatial coordinates of the first access point and a second margin of error to determine a second number of allowed channels for the first access point. The first margin of error is lower than the second margin of error. The method also includes, in response to determining that a difference between the first number and the second number meets a threshold, instructing a second access point at the site to perform AFC using the second margin of error rather than the first margin of error.

    Abstract: Techniques herein facilitate a device address rotation management protocol that may be implemented for a wireless local area network (WLAN), which can be used to influence when wireless client devices or stations may rotate their Media Access Control (MAC) addresses, how to perform such rotations, and/or the like. In one example, a method may include providing, by an access point (AP), a first communication indicating that the AP supports a MAC address rotation management protocol; obtaining, by the AP, a second communication from a wireless station (STA) indicating that the STA intends to perform a MAC address rotation; and transmitting, by the AP, a third communication to influence the MAC address rotation of the STA, the third communication comprising a rotation status indicator and timing information.

    Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for selecting network protocols using heatmaps. For instance, a system may receive radio frequency information from one or more sources located within an environment. The system may then generate heatmaps using the radio frequency information, where the heatmaps represent characteristics associated with different network protocols. The characteristics may include signal strengths, throughputs, data packet drop rates, data packet retry rates, and/or the like for various locations within the environment. A user device may then receive the heatmaps from the system. Using a location of the user device and the heatmaps, the user device may determine to communicate using a network protocol from the different network protocols. The user device may then establish a connection using the network protocol.

    Abstract: A Quality of Service (QoS) based wireless coverage map may be provided. First, a station may be identified by an Access Point (AP) in a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN). Next, a report request may be sent by the AP to the station in response to identifying the station. A report may then be received from the station in response to the report request. The report may comprise information. The information may comprise a location of the station and data indicating a strength of a signal from the AP at the station. A map may be created based on the received report. The map may indicate a hole in the coverage of the WLAN.
