Abstract: @ A loop transmission system comprises a plurality of node stations (ND-A...ND-D), a supervisory station (SV), and two duplicate loop transmission lines (TL1, TL2) which transmit signals in opposite directions. In operation of the system, the supervisory station sends out loop-back commands (LB-0 ON, LB-1 ON) via both of the duplicate loop transmission lines when faults are detected on both of the transmission lines at the same time. Upon receipt of a loop-back command, each of the node stations establishes a loop-back path (TLC) while retaining a connection path to a succeeding note station. The supervisory station then sends release commands (LB-0 OFF, LB-1 OFF) to the node stations, and the loop-back path is released only in those node stations which receive signals normally from both of the duplicate loop transmission lines.

Abstract: LOOP TRANSMISSION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE LOOP-BACK CONDITION THEREOF A loop transmission system and a method of controlling the loop-back condition thereof. The loop transmission system comprises a plurality of node stations, a supervisory station, and two duplicate loop transmission lines which transmit signals in opposite directions. In the loop transmission system, the supervisory station first sends out loop-back commands via both of the duplicate loop transmission lines when faults are detected on both of the duplicate loop transmission lines at the same time. Each of the node stations establishes a loop-back path while retaining a connection path to a succeeding node station upon the receipt of a loop-back command. The loop-back path is released only in the node stations which receive signals normally from both of the duplicate loop transmission lines when the supervisory station sends release commands to the node stations after sending the loopback commands.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reset quickly a section which is restored from trouble by gathering and judging state information of annular data transmission lines, which are recorded in communication equipments where loop back is set, by a communication equipment having the monitor function. CONSTITUTION:A communication equipment 1 having monitor functions and plural communication equipments 21-2n are connected by duplexed annular data transmission lines 3 and 4, and the equipment 1 judges a trouble to set loop-back as shown by 10 and 11 in the figure if frame synchronization in the system of the transmission line 3 or 4 cannot be acquired. When the trouble of the equipment 24 is restored thereafter, the equipment 24 discriminates whether frame synchronization is detected or not and sets loop back as shown by 24. The equipment 25 stores detection of frame synchronization in a storage part as state information of transmission lines. The equipment 1 receives infor mation transferred from the equipment 25 to judge restoration from the trouble and instructs release of the loop-back 11.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To quicken the recovery of a communication system by providing a means detecting that the reception signal of one transmission system is normal and the reception signal of other transmission line system is not normal and using a changeover means to set the branch of the signal. CONSTITUTION:A loopback control section 40 inputs the detection signal of frame synchronizing detection circuits 4, 14 and controls switches 5, 15, 21 so as to branch a signal received from a normal system to the transmission side of the abnormal system when the state that only one transmission line system is normal continues for a prescribed time. That is, the loopback control section 40 discriminates that the state that a synchronizing detection signal is received from, e.g., the circuit 4 and no synchronizing detection signal is obtained from the circuit 14 continues for a prescribed time, the section 40 constitutes the loopback from the system 0 to the system 1 by setting the switches 5, 15 to the position R and the switch 21 to the position L.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To allow a sender communication equipment to collate a fed-back time slot and a test data and discriminate the state by adding a test mode display to an allocation time slot of each data communication equipment and sending a test data. CONSTITUTION:When the execution of a test program 70 is started by the designation from a test panel of a data communication equipment, a test data 71 is transferred to a transmission buffer 47 and a bus 72 from a register 65 and the test data for the transmission buffer 49 is sent under normal control by using the allocated time slot. A control section 7 of the transmission time slot, however, is set to a bit pattern decided as the display of the test mode on the data register 45. The opposite data communication equipment receives the time slot to process the control section 7, and when the test mode is detected, the normal reception is stopped to relay the received time slot as it is. The reception side data communication equipment receives the time slot assigned to the own station for the test mode fed back through a ring transmission line and the data part 8 and the test data 71 are compared.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency for using time slots at the time of point-to- point communication in the same node by executing inter-terminal communication through an internal bus at timing of a time slot which has been instructed to a circuit corresponding part. CONSTITUTION:In case when point-to-point communication is executed between terminals (terminals A, B) which have been connected to the same node, an optional time slot number (TSi) is set to an address register 11 of the circuit corresponding parts A, B. When a frame counter shows TSi, an output 16 of a comparator becomes effective in the circuit corresponding part A, and data is sent out to an output data bus 7 from an output buffer 14. Also, a status for showing a fact of the point-to-point communication in the same node is informed to a common controlling circuit 3, therefore, an input 2 is selected by a selector 4, and the data of the output data bus 7 is sent out to an input data bus 6. Accordingly, the communication of the terminal A B is executed.
