Abstract: To configure an IAB node for DU function and MT function resource transition within an IAB network, the processing circuitry is to decode configuration signaling from a DU function of an IAB parent node, which provides allocated resources for a parent backhaul link. A resource transition is detected in adjacent slots between transmission or reception of data on the parent backhaul link and a child link. A number of desired guard symbols is determined for insertion during the transmission or reception of the data to avoid overlapping of the allocated resources for the parent backhaul link and allocated resources for the DU function during the resource transition in the adjacent slots.

Abstract: An apparatus and system are described to provide functions and procedures in a data-centric infrastructure (DCI). The logical architecture includes an infrastructure orchestration function and controller. Interactions between the infrastructure orchestration function and controller include a function request to form or release a logical computing node, or modify the logical computing node through addition or removal of at least one of a function-dedicated computing (FDC) function, a data plane (DP) function, or a function-dedicated network (FDN) function to the logical computing node. The controller configures the FDC/DP/FDN functions and sends a response indicating completion of operations performed by the controller that are related to the function request.

Abstract: Various approaches to efficiently allocating and utilizing hardware resources in data centers while maintaining compliance with a service level objective (SLO) specified for a computational workload is translated into a hardware-level SLO to facilitate direct enforcement by the hardware processor, e.g., using a feedback control loop or model-based mapping of the hardware-level SLO to allocations of microarchitecture resources of the processor. In some embodiments, a computational model of the hardware behavior under resource contention is used to predict the application performance (e.g., as measured in terms of the hardware-level SLO) to be expected under certain contention scenarios. Scheduling of workloads among the compute nodes within the data center may be based on such predictions. In further embodiments, configurations of microservices are optimized to minimize hardware resources while meeting a specified performance goal.

Abstract: Systems and techniques for information-centric network data cache management are described herein. A demand metric may be calculated for a content item requested from an information-centric network (ICN). A resistance metric may be calculated for each cache node of a set of cache nodes in the ICN based on the demand metric. A topology of the set of cache nodes may be evaluated to identify a transmission cost for each cache node of the set of cache nodes. An influencer node may be selected from the set of cache nodes based on the resistance metric for the influencer node and the transmission cost for the influencer node. The content item may be cached in a data cache of the influencer node.

Abstract: Embodiments herein provide mechanisms for configuring an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) mobile termination (MT) with one or more SMTCs. In embodiments the IAB MT may receive a radio resource control (RRC) information element (IE) with configuration information for one or more synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel (PBCH) block (SSB) measurement time configurations (SMTCs). For example, in some embodiments, the RRC IE may include configuration information for multiple SMTCs (e.g., 4 SMTCs). Abstract: Systems and methods of providing communications between UEs are generally described. A notification resource indicating subsequent transmission of a discovery message is transmitted from a UE to another UE using a discovery ID selected from a limited number of discovery IDs stored in the other UE. The other UE transmits a random access request to the UE having a temporary ID. The UE may not respond if the temporary ID is already used or may transmit data transmission information scrambled by the temporary ID. The other UE transmits a contention resolution PDU to the UE and may receive an ACK to indicate ID contention is not present, or either no response or a NACK to indicate the presence of ID contention. The other UE may either select a new temporary ID or use a backoff timer to retransmit the random access request at a random time.

Abstract: Systems and methods of providing DMRS for a UE are generally described. The DMRS locations in a resource unit of a Physical Resource Allocation of a shared channel are randomly determined, and the DMRS sequences randomly generated before transmission from a master UE to a wearable UE. The DMRS locations are disposed on different subcarriers and symbols in the resource unit and are repeated every k subframes or m resource units within the same subframe. In situations in which the collision/contention probability is relatively small, DMRS in control channels may be used rather than in the shared data channel.
