Provided is a method for adjusting a transmission starting point of at least one second terminal through a first terminal in a wireless network. The method for adjusting the transmission starting point comprises the steps of: setting the transmission starting point of the second terminal; transmitting a first request frame including information for the transmission starting point to the second terminal; receiving the first response frame transmitted according to the transmission starting point from the second terminal; and adjusting the transmission starting point according to an arrival time of the first response frame.

A method and an apparatus for providing user equipment at a boundary with reference information for starting the scanning of a heterogeneous access network are provided. For this purpose, a receiver, according to one embodiment, supports a plurality of access systems, and comprises: a receiving circuit for receiving a scanning threshold value from a transmitter; a first measurement module which measures the channel quality of a serving cell; and a second measurement module which starts scanning a neighbor cell, which is a heterogeneous access network, when the channel quality of the serving cell is lower than the channel quality threshold value. In addition, the receiver can further comprise a handover module which performs a handover to the neighbor cell when the channel quality of the neighbor cell measured by the second measurement module is higher than the channel quality of the serving cell.

The power saving method relates to a method for a transmitter of a communication system that controls data transmission to a listening window and a sleep window to control the sleep window, wherein if the data transmission is generated during the listening window, the transmitter gradually decreases a sleep window subsequent thereto by a predetermined ratio, and to the contrary, if the data transmission is not generated during the listening window, the transmitter gradually increases a sleep window subsequent thereto by a predetermined ratio.

At this time, the terminal identifies the current location thereof in the macrocell upon receipt of the pilot signals periodically transmitted from the base station of the macrocell. The terminal obtains information regarding the location of the terminal from the information regarding the femtocells deployed within the respective divided regions and information regarding macrocells neighboring the macrocell through using the mobile neighbor advertisement message to scan base stations.

According to the technique, provided is a method in which a source station sets up a relay link in a wireless communication system, wherein the method comprises: a step of receiving, from an access point or a PCP, capability information of at least one or more relay support stations of the wireless communication system; a step of selecting one of the relay support stations as a relay station, using the beamforming information among the source station, a destination station and the relay support stations, and the received capability information; a step of transmitting a relay link setup request frame to the destination station; and a step of receiving, from the destination station, a relay link setup response frame containing information on the result of the relay link setup, wherein the relay link setup request frame and the relay link setup response frame pass through the relay station.

The present invention relates to a femtocell search method for a handover from a macrocell to a femtocell. The present invention relates to a method for a terminal that accesses a macrocell to search a femtocell in an environment where a plurality of femtocells are overlapped in one macrocell. The terminal searches a femtocell by using a dummy preamble in order to minimize the size of neighbor cell lists broadcasted from the macrocell to the terminal. Therefore, according to the present invention, an MAC overhead can be minimized by eliminating neighbor femtocell lists in a mobile neighbor advertisement (MOB_NBR_ADV) message broadcasted from the macrocell, and the terminal can search a femtocell with a minimum scanning load by checking only a femtocell dummy preamble in a dedicated symbol of the macrocell.
