Abstract:
An apparatus for determining modulation and coding schemes (MCS) allocates a plurality of feedback channels to a multicast group to which a plurality of terminals belong. The apparatus receives the feedback signal through one feedback channel selected according to the channel quality indicators of each terminal among a plurality of feedback channels from each terminal belonging to the multicast group, and determines the MCS for the multicast data from the feedback signal received in the plurality feedback channels.
Abstract:
A multicast management method of a base station is provided. The base station generates CRC for a message including resource allocation information of a multicast group including a plurality of terminals, and masks the CRC with a CRC mask. Then, the base station adds the masked CRC to the message, and then transmits the message having the masked CRC added to the multicast group.
Abstract:
In a forwarding method, at least one ARQ block contained in a first PDU is fragmented into a plurality of ARQ sub-blocks, and at least one second PDU is generated from the plurality of ARG sub-blocks. The second PDU contains an extension header and also a payload containing at least some of the ARQ sub-blocks from among the plurality of ARQ sub-blocks. The extension header contains a field showing the sequence number of the first ARQ sub-block belonging to the payload.
Abstract:
Provided is an interference avoiding method in a mobile communication system. A base station detects a preamble signal of another base station during an initial setting process or a time frame of a downlink transmission section to detect an adjacent interference base station or receive a report of information on the adjacent interference base station detected by a mobile station from the mobile station. When an adjacent interference base station is detected, the base station sets a common bandwidth from among the entire usage bandwidth as an interference avoiding bandwidth according to a defined rule. The base station allocates a subchannel in the interference avoiding bandwidth to a mobile station in a cell edge area adjacent to a cell of an interference base station.
Abstract:
A signal receiving method includes allocating a communication resource corresponding to a mobile station over a plurality of frames, transmitting allocation information on the communication resource to the mobile station, and receiving a transmitted signal through the communication resource. Therefore, the resource allocated on the frequency axis is minimized by allocating the resource to the mobile station over a plurality of frames, and the resource is allocated within the limited power of the mobile station, thereby improving radio performance.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method in which a base station that supports multiple carriers transmits a paging message. The base station determines a first time for transmitting information associated with a multicast broadcast service (MBS), and transmits the information associated with an MBS at the first time via a first carrier. The base station determines a second time for transmitting a paging message to a mobile station, determines a second carrier for transmitting the paging message to the mobile station, and transmits the paging message at the second time via the second carrier. The second time is different from the first time.
Abstract:
Provided is a method in which a base station updates system information using a superframe structure in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: a step of transmitting a primary header containing system scheduling information related to updating system information; and a step of transmitting an updated secondary header. User equipment may determine when to apply the updated system information using the information applied in the secondary header.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for providing user equipment at a boundary with reference information for starting the scanning of a heterogeneous access network are provided. For this purpose, a receiver, according to one embodiment, supports a plurality of access systems, and comprises: a receiving circuit for receiving a scanning threshold value from a transmitter; a first measurement module which measures the channel quality of a serving cell; and a second measurement module which starts scanning a neighbor cell, which is a heterogeneous access network, when the channel quality of the serving cell is lower than the channel quality threshold value. In addition, the receiver can further comprise a handover module which performs a handover to the neighbor cell when the channel quality of the neighbor cell measured by the second measurement module is higher than the channel quality of the serving cell.
Abstract:
A terminal transmits control information to a base station by using a periodically allocated dedicated channel. In further detail, the terminal checks control information that needs to be transmitted, detects a priority of the checked control information, and selects control information to be transmitted to the base station based on the detected priority. The terminal forms a PDU by multiplexing the selected control information, and transmits the PDU to the base station.
Abstract:
A method for managing a multicast and broadcast service in a base station according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: transmitting a multicast and broadcast service control channel to a terminal; transmitting an indicator channel for indicating a change of the multicast and broadcast service control channel by using a unicast control channel when the multicast and broadcast service control channel is changed, to the terminal; and transmitting the changed multicast and broadcast service control channel to the terminal.
