Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to techniques for reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) communication. A method that may be performed by a network entity includes determining a subset of RISs controlled by the network entity to be activated or deactivated and transmitting, to each RIS of the subset of RISs, signaling activating or deactivating the subset of RISs in accordance with the determination. In response to receiving such signaling, each RIS of the subset of RISs may activate or deactivate in accordance with the signaling.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for sounding reference signal (SRS) management for a line-of-sight multiple-input multiple-output (LSM) mode. A receiving device may receive a configuration of a persistent or semi-persistent SRS resource set that configures a first number of SRS ports for a full spatial sounding mode. The receiving device may transmit a SRS on a partial sounding resource subset of the SRS resource set, the partial sounding resource subset corresponding to a partial sounding LSM mode. A transmitting device such as a base station may performing phase ramp interpolation for the partial sounding LSM mode to estimate a LSM channel between the base station and the first receiving device.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) can transmit multiple channel state information (CSI) reports that are related by certain differential functions such that the overhead for sending multiple CSI reports can be reduced. The UE receives a first channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) from a scheduling entity. The UE transmits a first CSI report based on the first CSI-RS, the first CSI report comprising one or more first CSI components. The UE receives a second CSI-RS from the scheduling entity. The UE transmits a second CSI report based on the second CSI-RS and the first CSI report, the second CSI report comprising one or more second CSI components derived at least in part from the one or more first CSI components.

The UE may receive, from the base station, second control signaling including an indication of a first antenna port value of a set of antenna port values for wireless communications between the UE and the base station. The UE may transmit, to the base station, at least one demodulation reference signal (DMRS) via at least one antenna port of a set of orthogonal antenna ports identified based at least in part on the first FD-OCC sequence length and the first antenna port value.

The UE receives first signaling triggering the UE to transmit a base channel state information (CSI) report to a network entity. The UE transmits the base CSI report to the network entity in response to the first signaling. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit configuration signaling such as radio resource control (RRC) signaling to a user equipment (UE) which indicates a number of sounding reference signal (SRS) resource sets and respective SRS resources within each of the SRS resource sets that may be used for channel estimation. The base station may subsequently transmit a control message such as a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) to the UE, which indicates an activation status for at least one SRS resource within the SRS resource set. Basedon the indicated activation status for the at least one SRS resource, the UE may transmit one or more SRSs to the base station.
