Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact generator which has excellent functions including heat dissipation, exhaustion and sound attenuation. SOLUTION: The compact generator includes an internal combustion engine 2 and a casing 14 covering around the internal combustion engine 2. In the casing 14 formed by arranging a refrigerant part 42 storing a refrigerant 42a, a first porous part 43, a gap 44, a sealing part 45 and a second porous part 46 in a layered manner in this order from the side of the internal combustion 2, the refrigerant 42a absorbs the heat generated from the internal combustion engine 2, the heat is transferred to the sealing part 45 and the second porous part 46 positioned on an outer side for heat dissipation and the exhaust part 32 and the second porous part 46 are connected for efficient exhaustion. In addition to sound insulation with a heavy object of the sealing part 45, sound attenuation is attained through sound absorption with the first porous part 43 and the gap part 44 and the second porous part 46 and exterior. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-mounted or face-mounted image display device having a power generation device.SOLUTION: An image display device applies a transmissive power generation device to increase the degree of freedom of the installation area while maintaining the design. The transmissive power generation device has coloring properties, and can be manufactured with a free shape such that even when the transmissive power generation device is disposed in a part or the whole of the surface of the image display device main body, the design can be prevented from being damaged. Also, the power generation device and the image display device are controlled such that power generation quantity is increased by adapting for the change of a power generation environment such that it is possible to cope with the increase/decrease of the power generation quantity corresponding to the environmental change.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately discriminate the presence or absence of an abnormality such as an intrusion of a suspicious individual.SOLUTION: A power generation section generates power on the basis of the energy present in the surrounding environment. The power generation section generates power on the basis of light and heat, vibrations, and radio waves, for example. In a power-generating floor, as a power generation element, a piezoelectric element is used which has a configuration comprising a piezoelectric material and electrodes on both ends of the piezoelectric material. In the case where the history of the positions of the power generation elements having generated power is taken, it is possible to obtain the trajectory of the movement of a user U. A discriminating apparatus discriminates the presence or absence of an abnormality, in accordance with information on power generation from the power generation section.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transport device having laminated structure being easily manufactured and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The heat transport device consists of a first substrate where a liquid suction holding part sucking and holding working fluid by capillary force is formed, a first recessed part composing a vaporizing chamber vaporizing the working fluid, a second recessed part composing a liquefying chamber liquefying the working fluid, a first groove composing a gas flow path introducing the vaporized working fluid, a second substrate which has a second groove composing a liquid flow path introducing liquefied working fluid formed all over the surface, and consists of the material having smaller heat conductivity than that of a silicon, and a thermoplastic or thermosetting resin materials connecting the first and second substrates. The heat transport device can be easily manufactured by interposing the thermoplastic or thermosetting resin materials between the first and the second substrates and heating them. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser and its manufacturing method capable of being made compact and thinned, outputting a light of a stable predetermined wavelength and contributing to a power saving as well. SOLUTION: This semiconductor laser 1 has a cooling function as a heat pipe. Moreover, as such function is materialized by laminating a substrate, it is possible to make compact and thin, to output a light of a stable predetermined wavelength, and to contribute to a power saving as well. Further, in particular, as a temperature of a semiconductor laser body 2 is detected, an internal pressure of the heat pipe is controlled based on a detected result, a temperature of the semiconductor laser body 2 is controlled, and a temperature of the semiconductor laser can be maintained at a fixed value with an extremely high accuracy. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately display a piece of information concerning environmental factors surrounding a user.SOLUTION: A controller 501 generates a piece of guide information guiding a user to a behavior to reduce or increase an influence receiving from the environmental factors based on a user's state acquired by a state information acquisition section 504 and a piece of information on the environmental factors acquired by an environmental information acquisition section 516. For example, in the case of the environmental factors which may give an adverse influence on human health, the controller 501 generates a piece of guide information to guide the user to a behavior to reduce the influence receiving from the environmental factor. Contrarily, in the case of the environmental factors which may give a favorable influence on human health, the controller 501 generates a piece of guide information to guide the user to a behavior to increase the influence receiving from the environmental factor.
