    Abstract: An editing apparatus having playback means (2A,...2D) for reproducing video signals from recording media and a recording means (4) for recording the reproduced video signals on a recording medium, further comprising: a signal processing means (18, 38, 46, 52) for adding special effect to the input video signal and outputting the processed signal; a switcher (12) having a plurality of input terminals and a plurality of output terminals, and delivering the input video signal selectively to a desired output terminal; a first parallel-to-serial converting means (8A,...8D) for executing parallel-to-serial conversion of the digital video signal obtained from the playback means (2A,...2D) and supplying the converted signal to the first input terminal of the switcher (12); a first serial-to-parallel converting means (14A,...14D) for executing serial-to-parallel conversion of the digital video signal obtained from the first output terminal of the switcher (12) and supplying the converted signal to the signal processing means; a second parallel-to-serial converting means (20) for executing parallel-to-serial conversion of the digital video signal obtained from the signal processing means and supplying the converted signal to the second input terminal of the switcher (12); and a second serial-to-parallel converting means (16) for executing serial-to-parallel conversion of the digital video signal obtained from the second output terminal of the switcher (12) and supplying the converted signal to the recording means. Due to such constitution, the entire apparatus can be dimensionally reduced to realize a compact structure.

    Abstract: HEAD DRUM ASSEMBLY In a head drum assembly for a video tape recording and/or reproducing apparatus provided with stationary and rotary drum members for guiding a magnetic tape at their peripheries while video signals are recorded on, or reproduced from the tape by means of a magnetic head or heads carried by the rotary drum member and extending into a gap defined between the peripheral surfaces of the drum members; the rotary drum member, and hence the head or heads carried thereby, is driven by a D.C. motor disposed coaxially in respect to the drum members and having its shaft directly coupled to the rotary drum member, the signals being recorded or reproduced are transmitted by a signal transformer including nested annular stationary and rotary cores fixed to, and coaxial with the stationary and rotary drum members, respectively, and carrying confronting stationary and rotary windings which are respectively connected to signal leads extending from the stationary drum member and to the head or heads, and such signal transformer is shielded in respect to electrostatic and electromagnetic noise generated by the adjacent D.C. motor. The shielding for the signal transformer desirably includes a conductive metallic shield, for example, of a material of high magnetic permeability with a conductive metal layer or coating thereon, or of a conductive metal paint, which extends about at least the outer surface of the stationary core within which the rotary core is nested. Further, a conductive metallic shield is preferably provided on a wall of the stationary drum member which extends radially between the signal transformer and the D.C. motor and also about the latter.

The shielding for the signal transformer desirably includes a conductive metallic shield, for example, of a material of high magnetic permeability with a conductive metal layer or coating thereon, or of a conductive metal paint, which extends about at least the outer surface of the stationary core within which the rotary core is nested. Further, a conductive metallic shield is preferably provided on a wall of the stationary drum member which extends radially between the signal transformer and the D.C. motor and also about the latter.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform repetitive rehearsals by a simple operation and also to perform automatic editing processing by controlling the reproduction means, a switcher and a signal processing means via a control means in an integrated way, based on the editing data. SOLUTION: A switcher 12 has a means which synthesizes plural inputs and outputs with the 1st and 2nd video signals. The reproduction means 2A to 2D reproduce the video signals and supply them to the switcher 12. A signal- processing means 52 applies the special effect processing to the video signals, received from the switcher 12 and supplies them again to the switcher 12. A control means 18 controls the means 2A to 2D, the switcher 12 and the means 52 in an integrated way, based on the editing data. The means 2A to 2D record the video signals which are outputted from the switcher 12. In other words, the means 18 controls the means 2A to 2D, the switcher 12 and the means 52 in an integrated way based on the editing data, so that the rehearsals are repetitively performed by a simple operation and the editing processing is automatically carried out.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To copy a vivid image to a photosensitive member by moving a shutter film to scan the picture on a display device by a rod lens array and copying the image to the photosensitive member. CONSTITUTION:A rod lens array 12 is attached to a shutter film 10, which is interposed between the picture on a display device 5 and a photosensitive material 9 to cover the photosensitive material 9 and is freely moved back and forth from one end side to the other of the picture on the display device 5, so that the rod lens array has focuses on the picture of the display device 5 and the photosensitive material 9. The shutter film 10 is moved and the picture on the display device is scanned by the rod lens array 12 to copy the image to the photosensitive member 9. Thus, a vivid image is copied to the photosensitive material 9 and is not blurred.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the shortage of memory by providing the interior of an IC card with a CPU, a ROM a RAM, etc., incorporating a backup cell and displaying the remainder or the used amount of the memory in a display area installed on the surface. CONSTITUTION:The interior of the IC card 1 in a name card size made of a plastic material is provided with the CPU 11, the ROM 12 and the RAM 13 for four-bit processing, all of which are connected through a bus line 19. A contact 14 on the back surface of the card 1 is connected to the bus line 19 through an I/F 15. The bus line 19 is connected to an LCD display part 30 on the surface of the card through a driver installed on the interior of the card 1. The interior of a card 10 is equipped with the backup cell 20. The usage situation of the RAM is displayed on the display part 30 by an external power source and by the cell 20 when the card 10 is applied to a reader (writer) and when it is detached out of the reader, respectively. Thus the memory shortage at the time of inputting newly data can be prevented, and unnecessary data is deleted to use the card efficiently.
