Abstract:
An improved means for incorporating an electron gun and stem assembly into the neck of a cathode ray tube wherein the stem is engaged with a metal collar while providing a groove therebetween, a thermally insulating fusible adhesive having an initial melting point lower than that of the stem is introduced into the groove, an end portion of the neck of the cathode ray tube is inserted into the groove, and the entire assembly is bonded together by means of fusion of the thermally insulating adhesive.

Abstract:
A cathode-ray tube having an envelope consisting of a panel portion, a funnel portion and a neck portion with an electron gun mounted in the neck portion, has a phosphor coated on the interior surface of the panel portion to provide a screen and a conductive layer is coated on the interior surface of at least the funnel portion. In this invention, the conductive layer comprises a mixture of graphite, silicon carbide and silicate such as alkali silicate.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly reproduce music designated from among a lot of music data and automatically take in the incident information of the music data to store it. SOLUTION: A recording and reproducing device 50 is provided with a communication part, a reading part, a storage part-controlling part and an outputting part. The communication part conducts the transmission and reception of data to an information center 60 in which plural pieces of incidental information are stored. The reading part reads out data recorded to a recording medium 55 to which a plurality of data and the list data of the plurality of data are recorded. A storage part stores the data which are read from the recording medium 55 by the reading part and are compressed. A control part reads, from the information center 60, the incidental information such as word-of-song information, which corresponds to the recording medium 55 from which the data are read by the reading part, through the communication part, and writes the incidental information to the storage part as the additional data to the recording medium 55 read by the reading part. The outputting part outputs the compressed data and the word-of-song information which are stored in the storage part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a receiving side to automatically download data on new information. SOLUTION: A first reception means 11 receives from a terminal device 6 index data on data stored in the terminal device 6. According to the received index data, a determination means 13 determines data recorded on a first recording medium 12 which is not recorded in the terminal device 6. A first transfer means 11 transfers to the terminal device 6 data determined as the data which is not recorded in the terminal device 6 according to the determination result. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption in an apparatus having a function of performing data communication and recording or reproducing data. SOLUTION: A communication part 26 performs communication via a base station. An HDD 27 records or reproduces data in a hard disk 27B. A recording and reproducing part 28 controls power supply to the communication part 26 and the HDD 27. For example, when the HDD 27 reproduces musical data, the recording and reproducing part 28 permits the power supply to the HDD 27 and does not permit the power supply to the communication part 26. When the communication part 26 performs communication, the power supply to the communication part 26 is permitted and the power supply to the HDD 27 is not permitted. The present invention is applied to a recording and reproducing device having a communication function. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
