Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an operational load imposed when transmitting contents for the remote utilization of copyright protected data.SOLUTION: A selection acceptance unit 308 of a television broadcast receiving device 100 accepts selection of a transmission destination apparatus (DTCP source apparatus) to which data is transmitted via a public network circuit in conformity with technical standards for transmitting the data protected by a copyright protection technique and which exists in a prescribed environment not connected to the television broadcast receiving device via the current public network circuit. First transmission processing means transmits, to a transmission destination apparatus (DTCP sink apparatus), a request for the transmission of an apparatus registration request including identification information for identifying a transmission destination apparatus based on the technical standard. Reception means receives the apparatus registration request including identification information from a portable HDD 150. Second transmission processing means transmits data protected by the copyright protection technique via the public network circuit to the portable HDD 150 which is identified by the identification information.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance convenience of a user by continuing the interrupted dubbing by a second network, when the dubbing between apparatuses connected by a first network is interrupted and re-connected with a different second network.SOLUTION: The content transmitter includes a content output unit for outputting content toward a content receiver connected by a first network. The content transmitter also includes an information output unit for outputting first information indicating the end of content, and second information, i.e., external connection information in the first network, toward the content receiver upon receiving an interruption instruction of content output. The content transmitter further includes an output resumption unit for resuming output of the interrupted content by connecting with the content receiver upon receiving a connection request output from the content receiver re-connected by the second network using the second information.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously hold a received portion in contents without damaging connectivity with an existent device even if uploading of the contents is abnormally finished under a network environment. SOLUTION: A content receiving apparatus includes: a content generation section 32 which detects an upload request from an upload device 2 on a network, generates an entry point to store contents to be uploaded and notifies the upload device, as an upload destination, about entry point information indicating the entry point; and a content receiving section 33 for receiving the contents uploaded from the upload device to the upload destination and storing the contents into the entry point corresponding to the upload destination. The content receiving apparatus further includes: an interruption determination section 34 for determining whether a received portion of the contents is continuously held or discarded with interruption of uploading; and a continuous content holding processing section 35 for rewriting the entry point information when continuously holding the received portion. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment for adding a function for dealing with the content data of an external device to an existing device without adding any alternation to the existing device. SOLUTION: A data merge section 14 of card type radio communication equipment creates file management information (file management information for UPnP content) for showing content data which can be provided by a UPnP media server to a host device just like a file stored in the card type radio communication equipment, and adds the created file management information to file management information (file management information for SD) for managing a file on a flash memory 11. When receiving a read request from the host device through a controller LSI 15, the data merge section 14 automatically assigns access destinations between the media server and the flash memory 11. SOLUTION: A data merge section 14 of card type radio communication equipment creates file management information (file management information for UPnP content) for showing content data which can be provided by a UPnP media server to a host device just like a file stored in the card type radio communication equipment. In accordance with the configuration rule of the directory for storing various data files in a flash memory 11, the data merge section 14 creates the file management information so that the file corresponding to the content data which can be provided by the UPnP media server can be arranged under the subordinate of a prescribed directory according to the type. In this case, when information which can not be generated from meta data corresponding to the content data is generated, the data merge section 14 creates and complements the insufficient information. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a playback device and method capable of preventing videos unnecessary for a user from being displayed, when a content acquired through a network is switched from a playback state to an idle state, as a result, making the content suitable for performing a slide show. SOLUTION: When a playback instruction is received, second video information (content videos) acquired through a network (14) is displayed. When a stop instruction is received while displaying the second video information, the received first video information (program videos under broadcasting) is displayed, after displaying third video information (middle videos) for a prescribed time. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To update metadata shown in advance when the metadata of a content changes during the update of the content. SOLUTION: A digital TV 20 transmits a content to a content reception part 33 of a network HDD 30 (step S16). While transmitting a content, the digital TV 20 monitors a change of the metadata of the content. When detecting a change, the digital TV 20 instructs a content transmission part to place the subsequent metadata at the last of the transmission of the content (step S18). The content transmission part adds the subsequent metadata to the last of the transmission of the content and transmits it to the network HDD 30 (step S19). The network HDD 30 extracts the subsequent metadata from the data to be received and updates corresponding metadata 302 in a content recording part 31 (step S20). COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
