PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce failure in detection when detecting a falsetto from singer's singing voice.SOLUTION: When generating voice information data including a harmonic tone rate, a pitch, and a lapse time as information from user's singing voice data (step S110), a control unit 10 allocates the voice information data to a voice distribution table (step S112). The control unit 10 subjects the voice information data to processing using a filter to successively calculate a calculation value (step S114). When the calculated calculation value exceeds a preliminarily determined threshold (YES; in step S116), the control unit 10 decides a position of the filter at timing when the calculated value exceeds the threshold (step S120). The control unit 10 detects voice information data included in a positively weighted region in the filter, as voice information data based on a falsetto (step S122).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine not only voice quality but also whether a song is being sung with a technique of switching voice quality by analyzing singing voice.SOLUTION: A karaoke device in the embodiment comprises: an acquisition part for acquiring singing voice; conversion means for converting the singing voice into a frequency spectrum for each frame; calculation means for calculating a singing SN ratio corresponding to a ratio between a peak value and a dip value in the frequency spectrum of each frame; determination means for determining that the singing voice is a singing voice made with a first voice quality or a second voice quality, or with a specific technique, according to a distribution of the singing SN ratio; and output means for outputting information corresponding to a determination result.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate a singing range of a singer independently of his or her determination.SOLUTION: A karaoke device acquires singing voice inputted during playback of musical piece data to specify not only singing pitches of the singing voice but also pitch ranges being pitch ranges divided per octave, to which the pitches of the singing voice belong. The karaoke device compares a designated pitch of each of component sounds to be sung with the singing pitch of the component sound to calculate a degree of pitch coincidence in the case where conversion is performed per octave so that the designated pitch and the singing pitch belong to the same pitch range, and the karaoke device performs conversion per octave so that the designated pitch of the component sound belongs to the specified pitch range, and evaluates singing with respect to the pitch converted on the basis of the degree of coincidence calculated for the component sound.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a karaoke device which displays a guide melody and lyrics while making them to correspond to each other without making lyrics data and guide melody data correspond to each other when musical piece data are generated. SOLUTION: When a performance indication for a musical piece is input to the karaoke device, a CPU 11 specifies a corresponding musical sound among respective musical sound included in the guide melody for each character of the lyrics included in the lyrics data. The CPU 11 reads a cluster of lyrics out of the lyrics data and also reads a guide melody part corresponding to the lyrics out of the guide melody during a performance to display the read lyrics and guide melody on a monitor. SOLUTION: A plurality of comment texts are stored in a storing section 14 of the music piece practice device 1. A CPU 11 of the music piece practice device 1 compares a model voice data stored in the storing section 14 with a created voice data of a practice person, and if the voice data of the practice person is different from the voice data of the model voice data by more than a predetermined amount, the part of the voice data of the practice person is specified as a correction area. SOLUTION: A phrase mean value of singing volume level values is obtained and volume mean values by notes are obtained. Then a mean deviation of a volume mean value of each note from the phrase mean value is obtained and regarded as an intonation point of the phrase. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Karaoke machine with a scoring function that makes it possible to accurately decide whether a singing is good by detecting singing timing with high precision. SOLUTION: A singing frequency is compared with a reference frequency and when the singing frequency enters a specified range from the reference frequency, singing timing of the note is decided. Cross-correlations between reference frequency waveforms of precedent and following notes and a singing frequency waveform are obtained and the position of the largest cross-correlation is decided as singing timing.
