Abstract:
The present invention relates to an arrangement (10) for coupling electro magnetic waves, particularly microwaves into and/or out of a device which comprises a dielectric resonator having a non-linear dielectric substrate with a high dielectric constant and a coupling loop (14). The dimensions of the resonator and the coupling loop (14) are correlated to the resonant frequency of the resonator and the coupling loop (14) is so arranged in relation to the resonator that the magnetic field line around the coupling loop match the internal film distribution of at least one mode, which has been selected to be excited, so that only said at least one mode is excited. Coupling is provided only for such mode. The length of the coupling loop (14) is comparable to or larger than the dimensions of the resonator.

The present invention provides a coplanar line filter (1) or a duplexer, comprising: a dielectric substrate (2); a plurality of λ/4 coplanar resonators (Q1 - Q4) provided on said dielectric substrate (2), said plurality of λ/4 coplanar resonators (Q1 - Q4) comprising; a first center conductor (3 - 6) having electrical length corresponding to a quarter wavelength; and a ground conductor (10) provided with a gap from said first center conductor (3 - 6); a capacitive coupling portion (C1, C2) comprising a gap provided between said first center conductors (3 - 6) of a pair of said λ/4 coplanar resonators (Q1 - Q4); and a inductive coupling portion (L1; L2), comprising a guide conductor (14, 15) which electrically connects said first center conductor (3 - 6) and ground (10), provided at a joint portion of a pair of said λ/4 coplanar resonators (Q1 - Q4); said plurality of λ/4 coplanar resonators (Q1 - Q4) being connected in series with said capacitive coupling portion (C1, C2) and said inductive coupling portion (L1, L2) provided alternately. By the above structure and arrangement, a small-scale coplanar line filter (1) or duplexer of simple design is obtained.

The present invention is directed towards an electric filter for use in a transmitter or receiver and more particularly, its object is to provide an improved filter capable of minimizing the transmission of noise. The filter includes an input electrode (15), an output electrode (16), and a resonator comprising a strip conductor (12a,13a,14a) and grounded conductors (17,117a...d) which are all disposed on a substrate (11) made of a dielectric substance. In addition, said strip conductor is electrically connected to the grounded conductors through capacitors (18-24). In the equipment employing the aforementioned filter, harmonic components of a signal will be attenuated effectively thus minimizing the transmission of noise.

L'invention vise à augmenter principalement les fréquences de résonance de transmission hyperfréquence de lignes dites symétriques, comprenant deux rubans conducteurs étroits (11, 21) coplanaires et parallèles. Selon l'invention, une telle ligne comprend un plan conducteur large longitudinal (24) qui est parallèle à l'un (21) des rubans étroits à une distance suffisamment grande pour ne pas sensiblement perturber l'impédance caractéristique de la ligne symétrique initiale (11, 21), et qui est relié audit ruban (21) par des petits plans conducteurs extrémaux (22, 23). La cavité (25) ainsi formée offre une première fréquence de résonance nettement supérieure aux fréquences basses de résonance longitudinale de la ligne symétrique (11 + 21) et par suite permet une bande utile de signaux à transmettre plus élevée. Les plans extrémaux permettent des connexions de la ligne à des connecteurs coaxiaux. Selon d'autres réalisations, la cavité est partagée en plusieurs sous-cavités résonnantes afin d'élever la bande passante de la ligne.
