Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for determining the relative positions of arrays of a flexible array device. The flexible array device, according to one embodiment, comprises a plurality of arrays which are arranged at predetermined intervals in a deformable substrate, and the method for determining the relative positions of the arrays comprises the steps of: measuring a first capacitance for adjacent arrays; measuring a second capacitance for the adjacent arrays after the deformation of the substrate; and determining the relative positions of the adjacent arrays on the basis of measurement values of the first capacitance and second capacitance. According to the embodiment, capacitance between adjacent arrays are measured for the plurality of arrays arranged in the deformable substrate, and a change in the capacitance caused by deformation (shrinkage, expansion, warpage, etc.) of the substrate is measured, and thus the relative positions of the arrays may be determined.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to 2-dimensional MXenes surface-modified with catechol derivatives, a method for preparing the same, MXene organic ink including the same, and use thereof (e.g. flexible electrodes, conducive cohesive/adhesive materials, electromagnetic wave-shielding materials, flexible heaters, sensors, energy storage devices). Particularly, the simple, fast, and scalable surface-functionalization process of MXenes using catechol derivatives (e.g. ADOPA) organic ligands significantly improves the dispersion stability in various organic solvents (including ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, acetone and acetonitrile) and produces highly concentrated organic liquid crystals of various MXenes (including Ti 2 CT x , Nb2CT x , V 2 CT x , Mo 2 CT x , Ti 3 C 2 T x , Ti 3 CNT x , Mo 2 TiC 2 T x , and Mo 2 Ti 2 C 3 T x ). Such products offer excellent electrical conductivity, improved oxidation stability, excellent coating and adhesion abilities to various hydrophobic substrates, and composite processability with hydrophobic polymers. This finding will lead to further studies on the structures, properties, and physics of the organic MXene liquid crystals and their practical applications.
