PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, an apparatus, and a computer program for adding a QOS level to a packet.SOLUTION: Syntax analysis of a multi layer network communication including a nest header by a continuous network layer is performed, and a value related to a priority or a quality of service requirement (a priority indicator value) for data of each individual layer distributed over a header group is extracted. Aggregated data (a composition aggregation priority value) is applied to a table where different possible composition aggregation priority values corresponding to a lower resolution quality level value are mapped. The priority indicator value or the composition aggregation priority value can be filtered, or masked, or compressed. In one embodiment, bit subsets different from each other for storing the priority indicator values are selected based on a logical port associated with a packet and the final priority indicator value applied to a discriminated sub-table having a mapping of quality level values suitable for the logical port.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for providing actual position specification data.SOLUTION: A device for providing actual position specification image data for at least one requester is coupled to many producers for position specification image data, and the respective producers have producer profiles adapted so as to provide position specification image data at one or a plurality of specific positions and including at least position representations showing positions of the producers. A device 100 has a receiver 101, a processor 102, and a transmitter 103. The receiver 101 is configured so as to receive a request for the position specification image data at the one or the plurality of specific positions from the requester. The transmitter 103 is configured so as to transmit requested position specification image data from at least one matching producer to the requester.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for direct access to a cache memory.SOLUTION: The method includes: receiving an area-range-zero command in which area-range-zero operation executed on a cache memory 181 is executed by a direct access manager 197 coupled to a cache controller 110; generating a direct-memory-access-area-range-zero command in response to the reception of the area-range-zero command, the direct-memory-access-area-range-zero command having an operation code and identification of an address of the cache memory where the operation is carried out; transmitting the direct-memory-access-area-range-zero command to the cache controller 110; and executing direct-memory-access-area-range-zero operation corresponding to the operation code and identification of a physical address of the cache memory 181 by the cache controller 110.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide multiple contexts in a redirect on-write file system.SOLUTION: A commitment is started, which is for permanently storing the present consistent snap shot of multiple data objects in a redirect on-write file system. Each one of the multiple data objects includes a first copy having a first context. When updating with respect to the data object among the multiple data objects is received during the commitment in order to store the present consistent snap shot, a second copy of the data of the data object is generated based on the first copy. The second copy of the data includes a second context among at least two contexts. In response to the reception of the updating with respect to the data object, the second copy of the data of the data object is updated based on the updating.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failover operation for a connection between a PCIE bridge and an input/output (IO) device.SOLUTION: A first set of bussed bits is exchanged between a first PCIE bridge and a first IO device over a first link using a first set of lanes of the first PCIE bridge. In response to detecting a failure in the first link, the first set of lanes is swapped with a second set of lanes of the first PCIE bridge over a second link using the second set of lanes. The second link connects a second PCIE bridge with a second IO device. In response to detecting the failure in the first link, at an IO device end, the first set of lanes is switched with the second set of lanes for exchanging the second set of bussed bits between the first PCIE bridge and the first IO device over the second link using the second set of lanes.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining power consumption of a power domain within an integrated circuit.SOLUTION: After a local power supply impedance profile Z(f) is determined, a local time-resolved power supply voltage U(t) is measured. U(t) is accumulated and transformed into the frequency domain to yield a voltage spectrum U(f). A current spectrum I(t) is calculated from U(f) using the power supply impedance profile Z(f) of this power domain as I(t)=F{U(f)/Z(f)}. Finally, a time-resolved power consumption spectrum P(t) is determined from the measured voltage spectrum U(t) and the calculated current spectrum I(t). This power consumption P(t) may be compared with a reference P(t) to verify whether power consumption within this power domain matches expectations.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, device and computer program for moving an object to a different layer with a series of drag operations by separating the drag operations into a contact state and a proximity state, or combining a double click operation and gradient of a touch panel etc. with the drag operations.SOLUTION: A device connected to perform data communication with a three-dimensional touch panel performs following steps; moving an object displayed between multiple layers; detecting a contact state against one object displayed on a first layer; and moving and displaying the object on a second layer when the object has reached a location where the second layer which is displayed before the first layer is displayed, if it has been detected that the contact state against the object transited to a proximity state.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, system, and computer program for automatically extending a collaboration window displayed on two communication devices.SOLUTION: A computer implemented method, system and/or computer program automatically extends a collaboration window. An initiation of an interactive teleconference, which utilizes the collaboration window displayed on two communication devices, is detected. The topic of the interactive teleconference is determined by a starting context of the interactive teleconference. The topic is associated with a related application that provides support information for the interactive teleconference. Then, the support information and/or the associated application is displayed on one or both of the two communication devices.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection tape which is flexible enough to be properly wound and stiff enough to facilitate reliable connections and disconnections.SOLUTION: A leader pin assembly 10 includes three members: a leader pin 12 with an elongated barbell shape and with at least one pair of flanges flanking a center section of the leader pin around which the tape is wrapped; an elastomer element 14 which is fitted over the tape wrapped around the center section of the leader pin; and a clip 16 fitted around the elastomer element to secure the elastomer element in a snug position around the tape and leader pin.
