Abstract: A process and system for pre-polymerizing propylene are disclosed. A first catalyst suspension is formed by mixing catalyst particles with a hydrocarbon that is a saturated hydrocarbon or propylene. Various other catalyst components are added to the first catalyst suspension, and the first catalyst suspension is then pre-polymerized under pre-polymerization conditions to form a pre-polymerized catalyst suspension that is introduced to a polymerization reactor or a storage tank. The saturated hydrocarbon can be propane, mixed butanes, or mixture thereof.

Abstract: A method of processing one or more streams in a benzene production system comprising receiving a reactor effluent stream comprising benzene from an aromatization reactor system; introducing reactor effluent stream into a first separator to produce first gas stream and first liquid stream; splitting the first gas stream into first portion and second portion of first gas stream; introducing first portion of first gas stream into a first compressor to produce first compressed gas stream; introducing first compressed gas stream into a second separator to produce recycle gas stream comprising hydrogen and second liquid stream; recycling recycle gas stream to aromatization reactor system; introducing second portion of first gas stream into a second compressor to produce second compressed gas stream; introducing second compressed gas stream into a third separator to produce gas product stream comprising hydrogen and third liquid stream; and optionally recycling gas product stream to aromatization reactor system.

A system for processing plastic waste may include the feed line, the feed fractionator, the hydrotreater, a medium hydrocarbon fractionator, the catalytic reforming unit, a full-range reforming unit, the heavy oil cracker, and the steam cracker. The medium hydrocarbon fractionator produces two hydrocarbon streams. The full-range naphtha reforming unit produces a second circular aromatic-rich stream.

Abstract: A hydrocarbon recovery system is integrated with a fluff transfer system. The hydrocarbon recovery system is configured for contacting a wet polymer fluff with a purge gas to provide a purged polymer fluff and an overhead stream, and separating a solids stream, a recovered hydrocarbon stream, and a recovered purge gas from the overhead stream. The polymer fluff transfer system is configured to receive the purged polymer fluff from the hydrocarbon recovery system and transport the purged polymer fluff in the fluff transfer system via circulation of a fluff transfer gas. The hydrocarbon recovery system and the fluff transfer system are integrated by utilizing fluff transfer gas from the fluff transfer system as the purge gas in the hydrocarbon recovery system and/or by utilizing at least a portion of the recovered purge gas from the hydrocarbon recovery system in the fluff transfer system as the fluff transfer gas.
