Abstract: This invention discloses a blood pressure measurement device including a cuff having a bladder wrap around an object to be measured, a MEMS pump for inflating the bladder with air, a pressure sensor for monitoring the pressure in the bladder, and a microcontroller for controlling the pressure sensor to continuously receive pressure signals during the process of inflating the bladder, converting the pressure signals into blood pressure values, and controlling a drive voltage level of the MEMS pump to maintain an air inflation speed of the MEMS pump in a predetermined inflation speed range. The invention further discloses a method for controlling a fixed frequency change of the blood pressure measurement device.

Abstract: A blood pressure measuring apparatus with a cuff comprises a cuff, an inflation unit, a deflation unit, a pressure sensor, a signal record and storage unit, and an operation and analysis unit. The operation and analysis unit is used to control the inflation unit and the deflation unit to increase the pressure within the cuff to a first pressure, maintain the pressure at the first pressure for a specified interval, then increase the pressure to a second pressure, and decrease the pressure. The blood pressure measurement is accordingly finished. The operation and analysis unit calculates an arteriosclerosis index based on a pulse waveform signal when the adjustable pressure unit maintains the pressure at the first pressure.

Abstract: A system for estimating BPs using a PPG signal analysis comprises an upper-arm wearable apparatus, a cuff-based BP measuring apparatus, a PPG signal receiver and analyzer, and a PPG to BP estimator and calibrator. The upper-arm wearable apparatus senses modeling-used PPG waveform signals. The cuff-based BP measuring apparatus obtains real PVR waveforms and real BPs. The PPG signal receiver and analyzer is configured to process the modeling-used PPG waveform signals and derive modeling-used characteristic parameters, and have modeling-used personal information parameters. The PPG to BP estimator and calibrator is configured to calculate estimated BPs based on the modeling-based characteristic parameters and the modeling-used personal information parameters, store a calibration model which approximately fits relationship between the estimated BPs and the real BPs; and calculate modeling-used calibrated-estimated BPs using the calibration model.

Abstract: A non-contact infrared thermometer is used to measure the temperature of a target area of an object to be measured. The non-contact infrared thermometer comprises an infrared sensor, time-of-flight sensor, a microprocessor, and storage. The time-of-flight sensor is configured for measuring an actual temperature measurement distance from the target area. The microprocessor is electrically connected to the infrared sensor and the time-of-flight sensor. The storage is electrically connected to the microprocessor and configured to store the range of a predetermined distance for temperature measurement. If the actual temperature measurement distance falls within the range of the predetermined distance for temperature measurement, the infrared sensor measures the temperature of the target area of the object to be measured.
