    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for controlling a lighting device for a motor vehicle comprising at least first and second light modules arranged to emit, respectively, first and second pixelated light beams in first and second predetermined emission zones which are associated with them, the resolution of the first pixelated light beam being greater than the resolution of the second pixelated light beam and the first and second predetermined emission zones being adjacent, the method includes detecting the presence of a target object in a given zone among the first and second predetermined emission zones and forming a dark zone in the pixelated light beam associated with the given zone, by extinction or attenuation of at least one pixel of the pixelated light beam, located at the level of the target object.

    Abstract: A method for correcting a light pattern provided by an automotive lighting device, wherein the light pattern is provided at least by a matrix arrangement of light sources. The method includes a first step of projecting a high beam pattern with a first zone where luminous intensity is lower, the first zone having a rectangular edge with four sides. The second step includes providing a number of pixels for each of the four sides of the edge of the first zone, thus creating an upper blur zone, a lower blur zone, a left blur zone and a right blur zone. A final step includes creating a blur pattern for the upper blur zone which extends along columns, a blur pattern for the lower blur zone which extends along columns, a blur pattern for the left blur zone which extends along rows and a blur pattern for the right blur zone which extend along rows, where the luminous intensity in each row or column adapts from the luminous intensity of the first zone to the luminous intensity of the high beam pattern. An automotive lighting device configured to perform these steps is also provided.

    Abstract: A method for controlling a lighting device of a host motor vehicle in order to emit a beam for lighting the road that is non-dazzling to a target object on this road. The method includes acquiring, with a sensor system of the host motor vehicle, the position (xtarget_t0, ytarget_t0) of the target object on the road at a given time (t0), and predicting, with a predicting unit, the position (xtarget_t1, ytarget_t1) of the target object on the road at a time (t1) that is in the future with respect to the given time. Also included is correcting, with the predicting unit, the acquired position of the target object at a given time depending on the predicted position at the future time, and generating, with the lighting device, a non-dazzling zone (Z) in a beam for lighting the road, which beam the device emits depending on the corrected position (PG,PD) of the target object.

    Abstract: A method for preventing a collision between a motor vehicle and at least one target object, the motor vehicle includes a detection system capable of detecting the target object and a warning system including at least one light module. The method includes detecting the target object and determining a position and a speed of the target object using the detection system. The method further includes estimating a critical trajectory likely to be followed by the target object in order to collide with the vehicle depending on the position and the speed of the target object, the critical trajectory being associated with a collision risk/collision time relationship. The method additional includes transmitting at least one light warning to the driver of the vehicle using the light module of the warning system.
